Season 2 episode 3. Flashback 1987, Shawn forged Henry’s signature to go on a fieldtrip because Henry didn’t give Shawn permission to go. Present day, Shawn and Gus have a meeting at the station with a treasury detective. He first meats him but before he goes into the chief’s office he meets a woman named Lindsey. She told him she was skeptical of psychics. During the meeting the detective asks who Shawn and Gus are. Karen tells him they are that Shawn is a psychic and Gus is his partner, but the detective also has a psychic named Lindsey (the same girl Shawn met in the hall). When everyone left the chief’s office Lindsey told Shawn that she was going to solve this case, and prove he was a fake. Then next morning everyone goes to The Home Depot then Shawn realizes he buys expensive cars in a place he can pay cash without pricking up ears. When they get there everyone is there already. Shawn asked why they didn’t call him. Lassie tells Shawn that the detective called Jules not him. Jules said that he had been calling all day and she has no idea how he got her home number. Then everyone goes and looks at the bills. The detective thinks they are all fakes but Shawn realizes that they are all real except 1. Shawn looks at the number and when he walks in on a meeting with everyone, he realizes he isn’t welcome. Right before he leaves he says only 1 bill is fake and looks back at what he remembers and tells them the number. When Shawn and Gus walk out they detective checks out the bills and realize he is right. Everyone walks out of the room after him. Then the chief asks "what’s the next move". The detective tries to answer but she tells him she was asking Shawn. The figure out they need to figure out where he is staying. Later that night Shawn and Gus are at the office and guess who shows up? Lindsay Liken. Shawn and Lindsay decide to work together. They figure out where the hotel is. Then everyone goes to the hotel. Shawn figures out which room he is staying in with a little help from Lindsay. When they search the room Shawn notices a package of linen paper that holds 500 sheets is empty. Lindsey thinks he has printed about 50,000 but Shawn says more like 500,000 Shawn does one of his hand things and it leads him to the package. Lindsay’s facial expression is like “what that’s not possible.” When everyone is leaving Lindsay invites Shawn back to her hotel room. At the hotel room Lindsay tells Shawn she had a change of heart with her boyfriend. They talk a little more, then kiss, and then go sleep with each other. In the morning Lindsey is gone. Then Lassie calls Shawn and tells him that they found the body dead. Shawn goes to Henry and Henry tells him she won and you lost. When Shawn and Gus go back to the office Gus said he thought that Shawn had her at the hotel with the 500 grand. Shawn realizes he did have her. He realizes that when she got close to the counterfeiter in Wyoming she actually had him but he told her that she would get a bunch of money. When she found out that he printed more than they planed and was going to run away with it and not give her any she confronted him and shot him. She made it look like a suicide and that’s why she touched the body. Shawn goes to Mildred (the lady who records all of the detective’s conversations) and asks her what the detective and Lindsey were talking about when they were walking to The Home Depot. Mildred tells Shawn that she told the detective that she went out for coffee. Shawn realizes that the coffee shop she went to was way outside of town and where the Lamborghini was spotted. He also figures out that is how she knew about the earring and the scar on the man's face. Shawn brings everyone to the airport where the detective and Liken are about to leave and confronts her. Everyone thinks he is crazy but when they open up her suitcase it is filled with money. In the end they arrest Liken and the detective walks right over by Jules with no shirt because Lassie had spilled coffee on his other one.

sixty five million years off

Season 2 episode 2. Flashback 1987, in school Shawn and Gus had to do projects on dinosaurs. Gus built a tyrannosaurus Rex head that was actual size. Shawn on the other hand took a toy dinosaur and connected it to a remote control car. Gus was mad because his took 3 months and Shawn’s only took 5 minutes (actually took an hour). Present day, Lassie is on a streak of solving crimes and the department hasn’t needed Shawn or Gus. Shawn goes to the station and talked to Jules, and Lassie invites him down to the crime scene. The guy had no identity and weird puncture wounds. Lassie thinks it was a boating accident, but Shawn realizes that it was a T-Rex. No one believes him and everyone leaves. Then Shawn takes Gus’s old dinosaur head and brings it to the morgue. When Shawn goes back to Henry’s house to drop off his truck Gus is there and so is a psychologist. While Shawn is doing his psychic thing for the psychologist the chief and Lassie come to Henry’s house and tell Shawn that the guy was a paleontologist. Shawn and Gus went to the college he is working for, Lassie and Jules are like 5 minutes behind them. When Shawn and Gus go to his house they enter his shed in the back, and when Lassie and Jules get there Shawn leads them in (using Gus to help him unlock the shed again.) Then Shawn and Gus see multiple fruit stand boxes and Shawn knows this stand is over 50 miles from the guy’s house. When Shawn and Gus get to the fruit stand the 1) ask the fruit stand guy if he had seen the dead guy. The fruit stand guy tells them that he came every night, and then went up the hill. 2) They buy a peach pie thing. When Shawn and Gus go to the place on the hill it is a far called Deacon Walker farms. When they get to the field they notice that the paleontologist had been digging. While they are there Shawn and Gus get shot at by the farmer. When they go to tell the chief this Lassie comes in saying that one of the kids in the dead guy’s class killed him because that is where they found the truck and the murder weapon. Later that day Shawn and Gus go back and look at the wholes. Shawn realizes what he found in the shed that looked like a tic-tac-toe board was actually they layout of where he had dug. The x’s were misses and the o’s were hits. There was only 1 o in the whole entire board. Shawn looks at the field like the board and realizes which one is the o. Shawn and Gus dig it up and find a Tyrannosaurus Rex head. Then they fill it back in because Shawn has to lead the police to it. When Shawn and Gus go back to talk to the farmer on the way they buy all of the peaches. When Shawn and Gus go to talk to the farmer they say they are from some place but the guy doesn’t want to talk to them. Then Shawn and Gus call the police station and the police come to the farm. Unfortunately Henry comes too. Then Shawn tells the police everything except when the big moment comes and Henry says it. In the end the psychologist goes to henrys house pretending to talk to Shawn but was actually there to talk to Henry. Henry got mad and sent every on home.

American Dous

Season 2 episode 1. Flashback 1987, Shawn and Gus are at a talent show and Gus wore the Michael Jackson costume. Present day, Shawn and Gus are watching American Duos. Shawn tries to talk to Gus, but he shushes him. Then Shawn gets a call from Jules. When they go to the station they have to go undercover and protect the head judge from American duos Nigel St. Nigel. Shawn has a plan to stay en ‘’stealth mode” Gus and him go on the show. They are really bad but Nigel has to keep them in the competition. After the other judges walk away a big light thing falls and almost lands on Nigel. Lassie interviews all the people who were there and then thinks Emalia the female judge tried to kill Nigel. When Shawn and Gus bring Nigel back to the hotel Shawn notices that the sandwich wasn’t from the hotel kitchen. The police test the sandwich and it had poison just like Shawn said. When the go to the room the find Emalia’s fingerprints all over the place. They keep her in custody until she becomes lucid and tells Lassie that she had slept on a car. Her alibi checks out. Meanwhile Buzz brings Nigel cup of noodle soup. When the soup is almost done Buzz is outside and he smells something burning. Also during that time Jules gives Shawn and Gus dance lessons for round 2 of the competition which is quite funny. When Shawn and Gus find out they bring Nigel to Henry’s house. When Emalia goes back to her hotel room there is a guy in black with a mask who injects her with enough tranquilizers to kill an adult rhinoceros. She manages to survive but is in the hospital and they think she injected herself. Nigel wants to cancel the show but the announcer and the other judge don’t let him. Shawn and Gus sneak back into Emilia’s hotel room. When they get there they look at the bathroom where she was found. They think it’s clean, but when Shawn turns off the light there is a reflection on the wall. He finds a necklace with a stone in the toilet. It is the same necklace that one of the contestants was wearing when they talked to him. Shawn tells Jules to come to the room and bring gloves because neither him nor Gus will reach in the toilet and get the stone. Jules comes like he asked and gets the stone. Shawn and Jules go to Emilia’s hospital room while Gus checks out the guy with the stone. Shawn figures out that the other guy judge Zeppato was working with the kid who injected Emilia. The judge and the kid get arrested and the only judge now on American Deus. In the end Shawn and Gus have a hilarious performance that everyone loves except Nigel St. Nigel, and they get kicked of the show.

Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast

Season 1 episode 15, the season finally. Flashback Halloween night 1987, Shawn and Gus were trick or treating but then have to go somewhere with Henry. They ride in Henry’s police car. He drives to a mental hospital where a lady is about to jump from the building. Henry tells Shawn and Gus to close their eyes. Shawn doesn’t listen so he opens his eyes and sees the woman fall out the window. Exactly 20 years later, there was a rumor about the lady who jumped. At a sorority two of the girls wanted to scare one of the recruiters for their sorority. One of the girls Bianca pretended to be the ghost of the lady who jumped from the building and chased her into the room. Before Bianca could take off her mask the other girl leaned against the window and accidentally fell to her death. Shawn and Gus had played wall ball and when they get back to the office there is a blond girl wearing pink. When she turns around it is Jules. She is undercover as a sorority girl and she is investigating Doreen’s case. Shawn goes to the sorority to read the girls and whoever is sabotaging them played a trick that scared Shawn and Gus so bad they went running outside screaming. When Jules comes out Shawn goes back to her, but Gus drives off. Lassie was temporarily assigned a new partner. She has no idea what she is doing because she is a rookie but is older than Lassie, and he doesn’t like her at all. Jules had a bunch of suspects but she had one person a girl named Alice who was Doreen’s roommate and had lived at Doreen’s house since she was little. Jules didn’t have a chance to talk to her before Shawn came. The next day at the college Jules talked to Alice. Alice hates Jules because she thinks she is a girl named Mary-Lou and is ‘’the queen of the dammed“as Alice called her. Lassie is still having issues with his new partner, because she is going to sit in the back to the car. Back at the office Shawn made fun of Gus for running away screaming. Gus told Shawn that Doreen had too much to live for plus she was pledging a sorority. Lassies still has trouble with the girls and Shawn goes and talks to Alice. When Jules is about to leave the sorority one of the girls gives her a card that was left on the stoop. It was candle lighting for Doreen at Wispy Sunny Pines. Shawn and Gus have dinner at Henry’s house and they say they have to leave because they have their case to leave in. Henry figures out that Shawn opens their eyes and laughs because they have been scared about it their whole lives. Then he tells them that when she fell one of the officers grabbed her and pulled her inside. Then Henry tells them he doesn’t know how that urban legend started about her jumping. When Henry leaves the table Shawn is like Dude we started an urban legend that is dope. When Shawn and Gus went to Doreen’s house the house keeper told Gus that the family was at the cemetery. Shawn figures out that Alice killed Bianca and were scaring the girls, and now he is going to save Jules. Lassie’s partner had a mild cardiac arrest chasing after the victim. He goes to the hospital with her and when she wakes up he is like oh my god I can’t handle you anymore. While he is there Shawn calls him and tells him to go to Wispy Sunny Pines to save Jules. When Jules gets there Alice leads her in and up to room 413 where Doreen fell. When they get there Jules is like Alice what are you doing, I’m not who you think I am. Alice takes an ax and starts swinging it at Jules. Lassie Shawn and Gus get to the asylum at the same time. They all hear Alice and glass breaking upstairs, so they follow the candles. When Shawn Gus and Lassie are running upstairs Gus’s foot gets stuck and Shawn leaves him there to go save Jules (because he likes her). When Lassie and Shawn get to the room Juliet had just got the ax form Alice and was about to hit her when Shawn and Lassie said her name. Shawn goes over and takes the ax from her and then they arrest Alice. When the chief gets there she is like what the hell happened? Alice says Jules is crazy and possessed. Jules is like I thought I was here for the candle light vigilance. Alice asks Shawn what he would have done, and then he remembers Gus is still inside. Shawn takes the voice transformer and uses it to scare Gus. In the end Lassie asks the chief if he did anything to her. She told him that everyone thought that they would work out well, and they are surprised it didn’t. When he looks at Jules’s desk Shawn Gus and Jules are eating Chinese food laughing about Jules screaming. Then Shawn gives Lassie a fortune cookie. That folks is the end of season 1!!!!

Poker? I Barely Know Her

Season 1 episode 14. Flashback 1985, Shawn is playing poker with a bunch of adult men and Shawn can read the people like a little kid’s book. Shawn wins the game and everyone is impressed, but then Henry walks in and gets mad at Shawn. He tells him never to gamble for money. Present day, Shawn and Gus are at the office and Gus bets him $10 that he can’t make a shot. Shawn is like I can’t take your money. Then Gus is like you’re all mouth, and Shawn makes the shot. Then Henry comes and is talking to Shawn telling him what he and Gus should do with the office to make it nicer. Shawn of course is like dad we have to go because we have an 11:00. Then Henry tells Shawn that he is the 11:00. Then Henry tells Shawn about this guy Phil Peterson and that Phil’s son might be missing. Then Phil comes and tells Shawn the same thing. Back at the station Juliet is worried because it is Lassie’s birthday and nobody knows what he likes or anything like that and she tells the chief. The chief tells her that she is on her own. Shawn and Gus go to Phil’s son’s old apartment and look at all his stuff at the garage sale. Shawn finds a yard and garden business card and goes to the shop. Shawn and Gus follow some guy around in there without the guy knowing, because everyone there had fancy cars. Back at the station Jules calls Lassies mother and has a bad conversation with her. Beck with Shawn and Gus, Gus is playing online poker and waiting to see if Brandon signs on. Shawn tells Brandon that he is a girl and a cheerleader. Brandon asks ‘’her” out to drinks. When they go some other guys from the poker thing come to the café and beat up Brandon. Then Shawn makes Brandon go to his father and Brandon does. Back at the station Lassie is away from his desk so Jules is going through his stuff. She finds something in a little book and Lassie comes over and says “what are you doing”. She told him she was looking for a mint and Lassie sad he was allergic. Back with Shawn and Gus, Henry and Phil called Shawn down to the car dealership and they watch last night security video. Brandon stole a bunch of cash from his dad and never talked to him in person. Phil asks Shawn if he can psychically locate Brandon. Back at the office Shawn and Gus are watching the video. Shawn figures out Brandon wants to face the guy at the maze but Gus tells Shawn that the “king” won’t be there and that he is at the poker derby. Gus of curse knows where the poker derby is and Shawn tells Henry and phil. Shawn, Gus, Phil, and Henry go to the derby where they see Brandon. Brandon has already put his money in and they don’t give refunds to Shawn has to play and beat the guy who Brandon owes money to. Shawn and the “king” are in the final round and Shawn figures out that the guy is cheating and then the guy gets arrested. After Phil gets his money he gives some to Shawn and Gus and of course Shawn wants to get double so he gambles with it and he lost. At the end they go to Lassies birthday party which Jules kind of screwed up because the people she invited weren’t his friends they were people he arrested.

Game, Set... Muuurder

Season 1 episode 13. Flashback 1985, Shawn is cheating at battle ship against Gus. Henry grounds Shawn and makes him play with one less piece. Present day, Shawn is lonely because Gus is out of town and he wants Jules to give him a case. Shawn sees that a tennis player is missing so he takes Jules’s scarf and ties it around his head then he pretend he has a vision and becomes part of the case. Gus was at a camp because he had to schmooze his supervisor to get a really good client, but Shawn wants him back at the office so he tells the main guy that Gus’s grandmother broke her hip. Shawn and Gus go to the missing girl Deanna’s house and look at all her stuff. They figure out she had a secret boyfriend. When Shawn and Gus go to the place where Deanna practices, Shawn talks to the girl who hits with her and Shawn asks the girl questions. When they are leaving Shawn notices the same nail stile on a poster that Deanna had on her hands in one if the pictures. When the lady working at the nail shop leaves her desk Shawn and Gus go over to the computer and look at her records. They see that Deanna had been there yesterday. Shawn figures out that she had an apartment and that she was probably there safe and sound. When they got there the police were already there and so was an ambulance. Jules told Shawn and Gus that “this is no longer a missing person’s case. This is attempted murder. Shawn and Gus do some snooping and Shawn figures out that Felix Deanna’s stalker wasn’t the bad guy. When Lassie brings Felix in Shawn says he didn’t do it he is true to his word. And Lassie asks him how he explains the trophy that Deanna was nearly killed with that was in the back of his car. Then Shawn goes to his father. Lassie is at Henry’s house and Shawn is like this is so weird. So then Henry makes Shawn think about the crime scenes and whatever the remembering thing is. When Shawn and Gus go back at around the same time they were there last time Shawn notices all the shadows are in different places. Shawn also figures out that one of the forensics guys killed Deanna because they were in a relationship but she met someone else and he went to confront her and almost killed her. The guy gets taken into custody and Gus finally got to say something dramatic. In the end Lassie tells Shawn that Henry can actually take the fun out of fishing.

Cloudy...with a Chance of Murder

Season 1 episode 12. Flashback 1985, Henry took Shawn to watch a trial. He teaches him all about the jurors, and deductive reasoning. Present day, Shawn is mad because his motorcycle is going to be impounded without reasoning. When Shawn got to the courthouse with Gus, Shawn left because he didn’t want to wait in the line. Gus was like “How can you not wait in lines that’s what we do as people we wait in lines.” Shawn told him it wasn’t in his nature. At the courthouse Shawn saw a woman, and when he got back to the office he found out her name was Sandra Panitch and she was a 4^th grade teacher who had murdered a guy named Jackson Hail. She was having a sexual relationship with Hail and supposedly stabbed him with a letter opener and left her fingerprints on it. Then while Shawn and Gus are still watching the news Sandra’s Lawyer comes on and Shawn notices that he is a beaten man, and decides they are going to be legal consultants. At the court Shawn gives Adam Hornstalk (Sandra’s lawyer) some tips on how to get Juror #4 to listen to him. His advice as usual works. When they leave Shawn sees Lassie and Jules outside of the courtroom. When Shawn and Gus go to the Channel 8 news place they meet some of his co-workers, a lady named Percila and a guy named Rubin. Shawn and Gus think Rubin might have killed Hail because he was destroying Hail’s awards. Shawn and Gus have a meeting with Sandra and she tells them some stuff. Back in the court Shawn is sitting at the defense table and the judge doesn’t know who he is. Lassie verifies that he has worked on cases and has been useful. When Robin is on the stand Shawn knows he didn’t kill Hail but Hornstalk and Shawn decided to “Plant a seed.” Hornstalk gets him to break and say that Hail should have been stabbed long ago.  Shawn figures out that Percila killed Hail and when he asks her the questions she breaks and admits to it. After that the case against Sandra was dismissed. In the end Shawn and Gus are going to the auction to get Shawn’s bike back and while they are there Henry and Hornstalk come. Right before the auction Buzz comes in with Shawn’s bike says it has been taken care of internally (by Lassie).

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, He Loves Me, Oops He's Dead

Season 1 episode 11. Flashback 1985, Shawn got punched in the face by a girl because he wasn't listening to his story. Henry tells him never mention a girls weight or her age. Present day, Shawn is guessing people's weight at the station. Then there is a case that Lassie doesn't really want so he gives it to Shawn and Gus. There was a guy who thought he had been abducted by aliens and woke up naked in a field. When Shawn was interviewing him Shawn noticed a small heart on his wrist and something on his foot. Back at the office Shawn tells Gus it wasn't aliens and it was some kind of drug. Then when they remember the naked guy smelled lavender and saw barbed wire Shawn knew that was a location. When they got there the cops were already there. There had been another victim. Shawn realizes both victims had been to the same tanning salon. When Shawn and Gus go to the salon Shawn sees his dad there. When they leave Shawn gets a call saying to come to the field. When they get there, there is a dead guy but he has never had a tan. Then Shawn realizes that all the victims had the same stamp. That stamp was a four leaf clover. Shawn knows it is from an Irish restaurant. When Shawn and Gus go there the leper con at the front desk tells them that the stamp is only for speed dating. Shawn and Gus go and talk to the first victim about the speed dating. Shawn gets the Chief to pay for him and Gus to go on the speed dating thing but she sends Lassie and Jules too. At the speed dating thing Shawn and Jules are a 100% match. The next day when Shawn and Gus go bowling with Gus's "girlfriend" Shawn sees Jules there with her boyfriend and since he obviously likes her, he pretends he is really good at bowling. Shawn and Gus bring the girl to Henry's house but then realize it’s not her. A few minutes later Shawn gets a call from Lassie. When he gets there the chief tells Shawn that the guys name is Marvin and they found him lurking around one of the speed dater’s homes. When they searched his apartment they found the speed dating questioners. Shawn also figures out that Marvin and his wife were pretending to be single and stealing people's credit cards and identity. In the end Shawn and Jules talk and he tells her that he actually copied her answers over her shoulder, and told him that her boyfriend can't bowl and that’s a deal breaker. From now on there will be a little bit more flirting between Jules and Shawn so look out for that.

From The Earth To The Starbucks

Season 1 episode 10. Flashback 1987, Shawn is at the store and he wants to buy some candy but his Henry says he can only get money for one thing because he doesn't have any more money. Shawn asks Gus to go ahead of him but Gus knows why so he says no. When Shawn buys his food he is the 1,000,000 customer and so he wins a gift certificate and a bike. He uses his gift certificate then and buys a lot more candy. Present day, Shawn is on a date with a girl he just met. He notices something about a break up which happened yesterday. She tells Shawn what happened and he figures out that he was trying to propose to her. So the girl leaves, and then at the same bar Shawn sees Lassie. Lassie was drunk and tells Shawn that he is astounding. Then he tells him that everyone thinks him and his wife had only been separated for 9 months but it had actually been 2 years that night. Then Lassie tells Shawn that he is a bad cop and dumb stuff like that. A few minutes later the girl comes back in and she had just gotten engaged. When Shawn looks back at Lassie he had fallen off his stool onto the floor. The next day Shawn comes into the Station and in front of Jules and Gus asks Lassie about the night before. Lassie makes up all kinds of things because he didn't remember anything and he gets really mad when Shawn mentions the 2 year anniversary of his separation. Shawn comes up with a plan that he and Gus are going to solve the case that Lassie can't solve give him all the credit and not let him know they are helping. Shawn thinks it is brilliant but Gus doesn't like the idea. Shawn met with the dead guy’s wife in the chief’s office and talks to her about the husband. Jules sees what he is doing and after the meeting Jules is like what are you doing. She likes to talk with her hands so when she held her hand out to say something Shawn high-five her. Jules decides she is going to help Shawn and Gus guide Lassie through this. Back at the office Shawn and Gus argue about something stupid and are like I have 2 jobs you have one. Then Shawn tells Gus that the victim was an astronomer watching the night sky (That’s true). Gus still doesn't want to go and also learns that Shawn tails him from work to the astronomy place sometimes, and that is how Shawn knew Gus went to the place on Thursdays. On a day, not Thursday, Gus goes to the astronomy place and is driving around the parking lot making sure Shawn isn't following him. When Gus goes inside he goes up to the front desk and guess who is working there? Shawn!!!!!!!!!!!  When Shawn walks and talks with Gus they see this girl there. Shawn realizes that Gus goes there to see Jessica (the girl) and not to see planet stuff. Shawn wants them to hook up so he does Jessica’s Planetarium show even though he doesn't know what he is doing. At the Station Jules brings Lassie the case about the dead guy, and he is like why did you do this and Jules is like because you told me to (That’s a lie).  Shawn completely messes up the planetarium show and then goes into the observatory. In the observatory Shawn meets the guy that Bryant Valerie (the dead guy) worked with. When Gus is talking to Jessica she tells him that she really wants to become an astronomer and that no one knows that. When Shawn and Gus meet Jules back at the station secretly she tells Shawn and Gus that she ran the phone records. They got nothing on the house, a little on the work, but the cell they hit the jack-pot. He would call this number no matter how late at night. The number was 555-0199. That number was Jessica’s number. Shawn had guessed she had just come out of a relationship, but he didn’t realize it was with the dead guy. Shawn and Gus go back to the planetarium and explore the room where the guy named Hugo (Bryant’s work partner) looks up into the sky and tries to discover things. Shawn notices that one of the pages in the logbook is missing 8:39-10:42. When they are leaving Shawn and Gus see Jessica, and she tells Gus that she has to change the time for tonight. When Shawn and Gus are leaving they notice Hugo giving Jessica and the Janitor coffee. They also notice a locked crate filled with tracking readouts. Since Hugo is now Shawn’s suspect, Shawn and Gus go to his house. In the vegetable garden Shawn sees flowers and he doesn’t know what kind they are, so he takes them to his dad. When he gets there Henry has a woman at his house, they decide to talk business the next day. Shawn talks to Jules about the case and Lassie, asking if he needed any more help. Jules says no and that “Lassie is on fire.” When Jules gets off the phone Lassie tells her he has found something, and that he thinks Bryant was killed by someone he knew. Gus is going on his date with Jessica and Shawn wants him to wear a wire but he refused so Shawn told him that he was going to follow them from a distance. Gus still doesn’t like that idea but Shawn follows him it anyway. Shawn ruined the date but discovered Hugo and Bryant discovered a planet 6 months earlier (June 21) and that Hugo wanted to become famous. Now Shawn and Gus really have established motive for murder. Henry calls Shawn wondering why he left a fox glove in the middle of his porch. Gus tells Shawn that fox glove leaves are used for medication. Shawn and Gus end up solving the case and Lassie is happier than he was before. In the end Lassie gets a press conference and he isn’t mad at Shawn anymore. In the very end Shawn sees his dad at the bar and asks him what happened to his girlfriend. Henry says he wanted to make Shawn happy.

Forget Me Not

Season 1 episode 9. Flashback 1986, Shawn is at a field trip to the zoo. He is picking on one of the girls in his class whose dad works for the SB PD like Shawn's dad. When they get to the ostrich pen the girl Trish Connors, throws Shawn tennis ball in the pen and the ostrich eats it. Shawn gets blamed for it and when he says he didn't do it Henry doesn't believe him, but Captain Connors does. When Connors asks if Shawn saw who did it Shawn says he didn't see the person but he thinks they were trying to hit him. Present day, Trish and her dad are standing outside of Psych, and Shawn sees them through the window. Shawn and Gus pretend to read their lips but it doesn't work so well. When they look back out the window, they see Trish and her dad coming in to the office. He pretends he has a vision that it is her because his eyes are closed and he is facing the opposite direction as her. Then he guesses the name and she is really impressed. Then he guesses about Captain Connors and he is in the other room. When they are talking Shawn realizes Captain has some memory loss. Shawn notices something on his sleeve about a case and says that he sees murder and Trish and he dad are like yeah. When they go to were Connors has breakfast every morning Shawn notices little i's on a crossword puzzle. He can tell that the paper is his fathers. At the station a woman comes up to Jules and says she thinks her boyfriend, and Jules is like okay. Back at breakfast Shawn, Gus, Henry and Connors are talking about their past cases. Shawn sees a sticky note on Conners' bag and notices it says Shaved. On the Missing flier that the lady in the station had been putting up of her boyfriend they guy was baled. Shawn asks Connors if this is his table he sits at and about the bald guy named Mike. Shawn gets everything right that he guesses. Henry realizes this is exactly like the case with a girl named Zoe Sharp, and says that the person wasn't a man named Mike it was a young woman named Zoe. After breakfast Henry tells Shawn that he and Connors worked the case 20 years ago and that she was mauled by a mountain lion. Henry tells Shawn to leave Connors be and that he has early onset Alzheimer and that he doesn't need any ones help to make him look like an old fool. Back at the office Gus comes in with the paper that says the missing guy who Connors had seen with Crocker, a man from the Zoe Sharp case, dead and had been killed buy a mountain lion. Shawn and Gus explain what they are going to do to solve the case to Trish. At Henry's house Shawn asks him about Zoe Sharp and Mort Crocker. Henry says that at the time she was his assistant and that there was a rumor that they were having an affair. Shawn and Gus go to an animal place where there is a mountain lion in a cage. When one of the lady's catches them in there they pretend they are from a different country and that Shawn is a vet and Gus is his assistant, but Shawn uses the names he sees on the name tags. While they are there Gus has to help a warthog give birth because the zoo's vet is away on an emergency. Back at the station Lassie and Jules are interviewing Mr. Crocker. Back to Shawn and Gus. They are at the trail where the guy was mauled by the lion and died. When they are on the trail Shawn and Gus discover that the drag marks from the body and the lion tracks come from different directions. So they figure out that the murder didn't occur there and the lion was framed. Shawn and Gus pretend they are hikers that were lost for 2 days when the ranger Desoto finds them. After they leave they talk about why Desoto would lie to them about the mountain lions being malnourished. Back at the station, Capt. Connors comes in wearing his uniform, and sits down at Lassie's desk. When Lassie comes over Connors thinks it is his desk blah blah blah. Back to Shawn and Gus. They are back at the station and Shawn is going to tell the police that Crocker is a murderer. After Shawn gets Capt. Connors to go home he notices the girlfriend of Mike. Shawn goes over and talks to her. Shawn notices something on the bottom of the Shoes Mike had been wearing. Shawn and Gus figure out that Crocker was Mike's father, but when they try to go to the house they get kicked out. Gus calls some pharmacies and finds out that Mike and Crocker were taking the same meds. Shawn and Gus tell the police, Trish and Capt. Connors about what happened to Mike and Zoe, and that Zoe and Crocker were the birth parents of Mike. After Shawn says this Lassie say he has an alibi and he was with 200 people the night of the murder. When everyone is finished speaking Connors is like he can't get away again and tries to go after Crocker himself. When they all get to the house Capt. is talking to Crocker. When Lassie comes over to him Capt. runs away and Lassie, Jules, Shawn, Gus, and Trish all chase Connors. While they are running Jules' Shoe falls off and when she picks up the shoe Shawn picks her up and carries her with him. Connors runs into Crocker’s wife's greenhouse. When he is in there he hides. Shawn is the only one who knows where he is. When Shawn goes to get Connors, he notices he has the same stuff on the bottom of his shoe as was on Mike's shoes. Shawn realizes that it wasn’t Crocker who was killed Mike it was his wife Etna. She and Crocker had got rid of Zoe 20 years ago. They had started a new life, and she didn't want the son to 1. Expose them 2. Get in their way and 3. He would get some of their money. The ranger from the park was he brother, she too was a Desoto. She killed mike and had her bother put the body on the trail then let out the lion to look like a lion attic. After that Etna gets arrested and so does her ranger brother. At the end Capt. Connors got an award for what he did. At the other table Shawn Gus and Trish were all sitting together and Shawn tells her about the tennis ball thing and how he was mad that she didn't ever say anything.

Shawn Vs. the Red Phantom

Season 1 episode 8. Flashback 1986, Shawn is pretending to be a superhero, even though his dad doesn't want him to be. When he gets home his dad had found superhero magazine/comics in his room and was mad. Present day, Juliet is at her desk when she gets a phone call from Shawn. Shawn was actually sitting in the chief’s office because she is gone with Lassie. Jules comes in and has him look at this case about a missing 18 year old. Shawn takes Gus away from his other job to investigate at the kid’s house. They go talk to the mother about the son. When they go into the room Shawn sees that the light has been tampered with and pretends to have a vision and when they remove the light a whole bunch of money falls out. After they leave Gus had figured out that the kid was at a comic book convention. Over with Lassie and the Chief. They are riding to a place together, for some meeting and Lassie is talking to the Chief nonstop, except without his knowledge the Chief was talking to her husband on the blue tooth. Back to Shawn and Gus. They are at the convention and they pretend to be one of the writers named George assistants, to get into the convention. They walk around for a while and talk to some people about comic stuff then before George is announced Shawn goes up on stage and says he is a psychic blah blah blah and pretends that Gus is "Magic Head" and says the name of the missing kid's two friends. After the kids come up on stage and walk down with Shawn and Magic Head and Shawn asks them about the kid. When they go to the hotel room that the friends Rob and Don were staying at it was trashed. Gus finds a note that says 'One down two to go". Shawn can’t figure out what it means yet but he knows that his kid on a spending spree was wrong. Shawn goes back to the station and tells Jules to go to the room and he thinks something bad went down in there. Back to Lassie and Chief. Lassie is still talking to her, and frankly she is extremely tired of it and bored. While he is talking the Chiefs water breaks. Lassie gets mad because his nice brief case is below her. Back to Shawn, Gus and Jules. At the convention Shawn got a date with one of the girls from the studio named Talia. On their walk Shawn asks about the missing kid and thinks that Talia had something to do with it. She said it was just a movie, but Shawn asked if her boss would say the same thing. When they go to ask her boss, Shawn finds a note that says "Two down one to go" in the same handwriting as the other one. Gus checked out the kid’s blog about the comic stuff, and Shawn thinks that one of the comic freaks really crossed the line between reality and comic book. Gus says there is one person still left for the kidnapper, but they have to do with the bribery scam. Shawn realizes that it is Talia. Back to Lassie and the Chief. The Chief is in the hospital about to have her baby. Her husband is on his way but traffic is really bad. She wants to have the baby naturally but Lassie has to stay and be her coach, and she isn't having any drugs. Back to Shawn, Jules, and Gus. Shawn and Gus are still at the convention and Shawn thinks this might be a stunt to promote the movie. When Jules gets there Shawn tells her that Talia is the next victim. Jules said she just saw her outside. When they get there they find a note saying "Judgment Day". When Shawn and Gus are thinking about the note, Shawn realizes that whatever is going on was based on the comic of the Green Spirit that Gus has. Then he realizes that the signature of the author is the same handwriting on the notes. Back to Lassie and the Chief. The Chief is about to have her baby, and Lassie is trying to coach her in to pushing harder. Then she tells him to just hold her hand and shut the hell up. After he does that she finally has the baby and it is a girl. Lassie cuts the umbilical cord, and then holds the baby. The Chief is like uh can I hold my baby now. Back to Shawn, Jules and Gus. They are still at the convention and Shawn and Gus are looking for Jules. They need to tell her what they figured out. When they find her Shawn realizes that the hostages are under the stage. Shawn, Gus and Jules got the people out from under the stage and are at the hospital with Lassie and the Chief. Lassie, Jules, Shawn, and Gus don't know which one the Chief's baby is. After she shows them Jules asks if she should be up and walking. The Chief tells her that she is coming into work tomorrow. In the end Shawn ends up telling her to come back in January.

Who Ya Gonna Call

Season 1 Episode 7. Flashback 1986, a mean kid is chasing Shawn, and he runs inside the house. Henry tells him he can't run away from the bad guy forever and to get back out there and come up with a new approach. Shawn goes over to the kid and notices that he got an F on his math quiz, and asks him if he is failing. The kid said probably. Shawn makes him a deal. The kid has to leave him alone and Shawn will make sure he gets an A on the next test. Present day, Shawn is playing video games, and got an assistant that can't speak English but is really pretty. When Gus gets to the office Shawn asks him why he is there so early. Gus tells him that it is because one of the Doctor people died. Shawn gets upset wondering why Gus didn't call him. When they get there Lassie and Jules are already there. Lassie doesn't want them in, but Shawn makes a sad puppy dog face to Jules. She lets them in but tells them not to go in the back room. When they go in Lassie and Juliet talk for a sec then when Lassie is walking out he sees Shawn and Gus. He is mad as usual that they are there but Shawn says something to distract Lassie so he can look for clues. When Lassie turns back around he makes them leave. Back at the office a man named Robert comes to Shawn and Gus for help. He thinks he is being haunted. Shawn and Gus take the case and have to stay overnight at Robert aka Bob's house. At Bob's house Shawn is looking at his paintings. Then he looks at his pictures and sees that he is crossed out of them all, and then pretends that he is connecting with the spirits. Right before they go to bed Shawn tells Gus that the x-girlfriend did it. In the middle of the night Gus wakes up and the house is on fire, he wakes up Shawn and goes to get Robert. The next morning Shawn is talking to Robert about the spirits. Meanwhile Lassie and Jules figure out that the dead Doctor's last patient was a woman named Regina Kane. Shawn and Gus are driving back from Robert's, but Shawn wants to go to the x-girlfriends. Gus says no, so when they stop to eat, while Gus was in the bathroom Shawn put 6 allergy pills in his drink. When Gus wakes up Shawn is driving him to the x-girlfriends house. Gus gets mad and tells Shawn that they are not talking. When they get to the girlfriends house she opens the door, and Shawn says "It's not her" and leaves. Gus gets mad at Shawn and texts him that they didn't drive out here for nothing they are going to talk to her. Back at the police station Juliet comes over to Lassie and tells him that he looks sad and asks him why. He says he is said because he hasn't gotten his forensics report on Regina Kane. When Shawn and Gus get back to Santa Barbra someone tried to t-bone them while they were sitting parked in the car. When they look inside the other car Shawn sees a toothpick exactly like the one at the police's crime scene. Gus and Shawn go over to Roberts’s house but he isn't there. His door is unlocked but he wasn't, Shawn and Gus decide to look in the attic which you have to get into from outside. In the attic Shawn and Gus find a whole bunch of girls stuff and they realize that Robert has multiple personality disorder. When he is female he cooks dinner when he becomes male he thinks a ghost did it, and he doesn't remember being the woman at all. Shawn and Gus decide to use triggers to make the female side of him show. They take Robert up the attic and show him everything up there, but there are still no feminine signs, so Shawn has him sit down and starts to call him Regina because he had made the connection with the police suspect and Robert. Then Roberts’s brain turns into Regina, and Shawn is like this is weird. Shawn and Gus ask Regina questions about Robert and that's when Shawn has the idea that there is a third personality. Shawn and Gus ask Regina if they can speak to Robert, and suddenly Robert is back and Regina is gone. Then they tell Robert that he is haunting himself. Shawn and Gus are back at the police department going to lead Lassie to Regina, but in the meantime run into Jules. Jules goes to get Lassie and while she is looking, Lassie is at the target practice and shoots the little glass people he got for his ex-wife and she gave back. Shawn sees the Doctors patient files finds Regina's and sees that she wanted gender reassignment, and that the other personality killed the first Doctor she went to see and the Doctor she was going to see right then. Lassie, Jules, Shawn, and Gus all got there just as one of the personalities was about to kill the other Doctor. In the end Robert got sent to the best mental health place in the country, and at the office the agency sent them a new secretary who was a guy. So Shawn fired him.

Weekend Warriors

Psych season 1 Episode 6. Flashback 1986, Henry is teaching Shawn and Gus how to play survival. To play the game you have to fight and if you fight you better damn win because if you don't win or use your brain then you lose. Henry says that losing is not an option in his troop. Then Henry launches a solid fuel rocket in the air and the boys have to find it but Henry takes a shortcut and finds it before them both. Present day, Lassie is part of the Civil War reenactment. Shawn and Gus come to watch the rehearsal and Jules comes along. While Lassie is making comments about the skit, he finds one of the guys dead. He had been shot by a real gun. The police are going to start an investigation even though they think it is an accident, but Shawn has an "episode" and says it is murder, so the chief hires him. Shawn goes down to the crime scene and talks to Lassie, but Shawn knows he is holding out because he doesn't want them on the case. Back at the office Shawn makes an exact replica of the replica of the battle field that they had in the police station, on the air hockey table. Then Shawn thinks a man named George killed the other man, but then he and Gus realize that he didn't do it the police come and arrest George. At the station Shawn tries to tell the chief that George didn't do it, and the shooter was much closer. But the chief said without a name she is afraid Lassie is right this time. So Shawn decides to become part of the reenactment with Gus. Shawn has costumes made for Gus and himself that are part of the civil war costuming. During the camping with the Civil War guys Shawn kisses a lady named Sally, during that time he fell of the bridge the same way Nelson Po, the guy who died, did. When he stopped rolling he looked up in the tree and saw where Po was shot from. Shawn goes to his dad pretending he lost the pocket watch Henry just gave him, requiring Henry to give Shawn the medal detector, so Shawn could find the missing bullet. When Shawn finds it he marks it with a pencil, and tells his dad he had the watch all along. Then Gus brings Lassie and Jules to the spot and they find the pencil and the bullet. Shawn and Gus stay at the field while Jules and Lassie had to go do something else. Shawn climbs the tree and discovers Po wasn't the intended target. He had interrupted the killers plan to kill Sally. Shawn and Gus make a plan for Jules to take Sally’s spot in the reenactment wearing a bullet proof vest under the dress so they can catch the killer and Sally won’t be killed. Shawn and Gus figure out that the guy who sold Henry the pocket watch, and has the costumes is the one trying to kill Sally because of the insurance policy she wrote for him. He had blown up his own vault, used the reenactment as a cover to rob his own store. In a few weeks he would collect the insurance policy money, but Sally was part of the policy, she had been in on the fraud from the start. If she wasn't dead then she would collect half of the money. But the owner wanted it all for himself so he tried to kill Sally. In the end Sally and the owner guy both got arrested.

Lives

Season 1 episode 5. Flashback 1985, Shawn is eating cereal and when he finishes the box the prize is missing. Henry tells him "Sometimes you don't have to dig so deep just turn something upside down to make it right side up. Present day, Shawn and Gus go to a crime scene. Shawn tells McNab that he is bringing Lassie's coffee to him, so McNab lets them in to the scene. Shawn notices that there is a marinating stake in the fridge, then he tells Gus that this wasn't suicide it was murder. Then he notices that the door latch was still intact. If someone were to kill themselves then they would probably want to lock the door, so no one could barge in on you in the middle. Then Lassie comes up behind Shawn and tells him to leave, but Shawn tries to tell him that it was murder. Lassie of course doesn't believe Shawn, when he tells him there are witnesses. While he is saying that he notices a little boy cat, and he wants to "Talk" to it. Shawn ends up taking the little boy cat, and it is the lead witness in a major murder investigation. Then he asks Gus if he would like to hold the cat. Gus says no, and tells Shawn that he doesn't like the idea of him having to carry that cat around everywhere, pretending that he can talk to it. Shawn gets mad at Gus for saying that about his little boy cat. Back at the office, Gus tells Shawn that Lassie might be right and that it might be a suicide. Then Shawn says that Gus is probably right, but how does he explain the second body they just found. When they get there Jules is already there but Lassie is a little late. When Lassie arrives he spills is coffee all over him. Then Jules is telling Lassie that it could be a suicide, and she died from Carbon monoxide poisoning then Shawn says that the little boy cat disagrees. Then Shawn "Accidentally" drops the cat in the car and the cat pees on the dry cleaning. Lassie takes the cat out of the car and gives it back to Shawn. During that Gus asks Jules what one of the guys is doing. She tells him they are testing how much Carbon monoxide went into the car. When one of the Police men turn on the car there is heavy medal playing. Shawn asks Lassie if she looks like the kind of person that would be listening to heavy medal. Lassie said she could have changed the station. While driving down the road Gus gives Shawn the paper to lay down for the cat, Shawn notices the lady in the paper and that she got her big break in Santa Barbra, why would she want to kill herself? So Shawn and Gus go to the chief where Shawn "Channels Gloria" and shows her and Lassie the paper about her big break. After Shawn finishes "Channeling Gloria" he sits on Lassie's lap and Lassie tells him to get off. Then Shawn looks at the phone records of the first dead guy and figures out that he called a stress line multiple times. Then Lassie tells Shawn that all of the victims called the stress line, and that the case was closed. Shawn pretended that he was giving up but he wasn't. Shawn got a closet next to the stress line place and pretended to start his own "1-800 thingy". Then he met all of the people who worked for the stress line and talked to them all trying to figure out which one is the killer. Shawn thinks the killer could be a kid named Rory but Shawn needs to see him in action so he has Gus call the line. So Gus calls the line pretending to be stressed while Shawn listens and watches Rory in action. He learns that Rory was only there for community service because he got into it with a guy who didn't like his poetry. While Gus and Rory were talking Rory asked Gus if he had been having dark thoughts, and Gus asked him how dark and Rory mentioned suicide. So now Shawn thinks Rory killed the people, and so do the cops. But after unplugging his iPod headphones Shawn realizes that the telephone guy is the murderer and that Rory was framed. Then Shawn finds evidence that Buzz McNab is going to be the next victim. Shawn and Gus go to McNab's and find the killer with his gun at McNab. Then the police come in and the little boy cat sneaks in too. Shawn has a plan for the little boy cat and the killer ends up getting arrested. And as a wedding gift Shawn gives McNab the little boy cat. Back at the office Shawn and Gus are eating cereal. The kind with the prize at the bottom. When the box is empty there is no ring, because Shawn had opened the box from the bottom and taken the prize.

Woman Seeking Dead Husband, Smokers Okay, No Pets

Psych season 1 episode 4. Flashback 1989 Shawn and his father are behind a log spying on their house to see who is stealing their paper. Present day. Shawn and Gus are in the chief’s office. Shawn wants to help with a bank robbery case but the chief told him it was already solved, and that the woman was only here to be told that her husband's partners were being paroled today. Shawn goes over to Lassie and Jules, and meets Raleen, the widow of one of the bank robbers. She used to go to a Psychic so Shawn and Gus gave her their card and told her to come by. Back at the office Shawn is looking at the car Raleen's husband blew up in. Later that night Shawn has a séance were he talks to the spirits. At the end something gets thrown through the Psych window. The next day Shawn and Gus go to see Jules and ask her for the case file because of what had happened the night before. Jules unfortunately says no. Shawn goes to one of the lady's who he "Spoke to her dead grandmother" and pretender that the spirit was in the records room. Shawn tells her to close her eyes to hear the spirit, and while her eyes are closed he looks through the case file. Then he takes Gus to the cousin’s house and while they are there they find Raleen’s husband. He is not actually dead he was just hiding from everyone because he had lost the money. Later Shawn sneaks into Lassie's car and tells Jules and Lassie that the Criminals don't know where the money is. Then Gus and Shawn go to the guy’s motel room and tell them that Shawn is psychic, and that David, Raleen's husband, doesn't want them to hurt Raleen. Then the skinny guy goes outside and watches while Shawn proves he is psychic. Then he asks the guys about David and they tell Shawn and Gus that David was the wheel man. And that he probably drove straight off the road on purpose because he wanted to get away from his wife. Shawn and Gus learned that Raleen was the crazy one. All of the men had to do what she said. She was the actual one who wanted the money not the bad guys. They didn't want to hurt Raleen they wanted to get away from her, especially her husband. The bad guys told them that Raleen could play anybody, and that she is very dangerous. Shawn and Gus figure out that Raleen was the mastermind. When they try to leave the motel Lassie and Jules are outside so they have to crawl through a bathroom window. David and Raleen end up getting arrested, and Shawn tries to give Lassie credit for the connection to David, but Lassie was stubborn and was like what are you talking about. Then Gus and Shawn try to find the money, and discover that it is on the trail that only opens up for emergencies like when it was raining a lot. Shawn and Gus start going down the trail to find the money and that is how it ends.

Speak Now Or Forever Hold Your Peace

Season 1 episode 3. Flashback Shawn and Gus are playing hide and go seek. Henry tells Shawn about what he should do when he is looking for a perpetrator. Present day, Shawn sneaks around a corner and listens about a diamond heist. An engagement ring was stolen. After all of the detectives leave Shawn goes down to the interview rooms and talks to the bride and groom. Shawn goes to the hotel were the party is staying and pretends he is a lime disease inspector. He makes sure the security guard lets him everywhere in the hotel. Shawn listens in on Lassie's presentation about what he thinks happened that night. Lassie thinks that the manager stole the ring but Shawn disagrees. Later he talks to Jules about the diamond, then goes to Gus and pretends that his cat is in the animal hospital so he could leave work to solve the case. Shawn and Gus go to Lassie's room and a few others before they go to the kitchen where they find the manager dead in a dumbwaiter. He had been murdered. Shawn leads Lassie and Jules to the body and then throws the bachelor party in Lassie's room. Then he goes to the girl’s party where he talks to the ladies about the ring. Then the maid of honor takes Shawn downstairs and they look at the flowers. After a minute Gus comes downstairs and tells Shawn that they have to go and solve the case. The next day Shawn and Gus go to the wedding and in the middle of the wedding Shawn stands up and says the maid of honor stole the ring. Then Shawn and the police chase her down the hall. She trips over an old lady's foot, the flowers fly up in the air. Gus catches the flowers and pulled the ring out of the bottom of the bouquet. After the wedding Lassie is still mad at Shawn but the hotel guys cover for him so Lassie doesn't charge him the extra fee.

The Spellingg Bee

Psych season 1 episode 2. Shawn went outside of the restaurant to get that morning’s paper, and when he came back a woman was sitting in his seat. That lady turned out to be detective Juliet O'Hara aka Jules (Maggie Lawson). Shawn at first had no idea that she was a cop until the scary guy walked in and then he realized. Jules had no idea that Shawn was going to help the SB PD solve crimes. When Shawn goes back to the office space he had rented for Gus and himself, Gus was watching the Spelling Bee on TV. One of the kids had to drop out of the contest because he couldn't breathe. Right before the press conference the announcer of the Bee fell over the railing from the announcer's box to his death. Shawn looked around up in the box, and found he had been eating noodles and knew there was something wrong with them because Gus had smelled a chemical gone bad. Shawn took a sample and put it in an evidence bag and brought it to his dad. Henry said he would do it on one condition; Shawn had to finish his dog house. Shawn knew that Lassie was having an interview so during the middle of the interview Shawn interrupted saying that he had a "vision" saying for them to check the food, and that the death wasn't accidental it was murder. When Shawn was thinking about the doghouse and what his dad wanted him to do this car came along and tried to hit him. Shawn's dad ends up getting him the results and helping him finish his doghouse. After he goes down to the station and tells Lassie, Jules, and the Chief that the spell master was poisoned, but the chief didn't believe him because he had no proof. So Shawn went back to the Spell Masters box and figured out that the Check kid was cheating and the spell master was going to disqualify him, but his father couldn't let that happen so he killed the spell master so they could get the check from winning the bee. The check kid ended up getting disqualified and his father got arrested. Later that day Shawn went to his father’s house and gave him the neighbor’s dog as a joke for the doghouse and left it on the porch.

Pilot

Season 1 episode 1 of Psych the USA series is when you meet the main character Shawn Spencer (James Roday) who has a keen eye for the slightest details of everything. Shawn helps the Santa Barbra Police Department (SB PD) solve a case by watching the channel 8 news, but the police don't believe him. They want to know how he does it. He tells the police that he is psychic and can read people for example how he knew Detective Carlton Lassiter aka Lassie (Tim Omundson) was sleeping with his partner. While Shawn is at the police department he notices something about one of the guys in shackles and tells the police about what that man did. Lassie takes Shawn to Intern Chief Karen Vick (Kirsten Nelson) who is pregnant, in later cases uses Shawn and his partner who had been his best friend since childhood, Burton Guster aka Gus (Dule Hill) as psychic consultants. Since Shawn isn't a real psychic, when he learned that his father, Henry Spencer (Corbin Bernson), who was a retired cop was back living in Santa Barbra, Shawn went to him for help.
