Tuesday the 17th

Season 3 episode 15. Flashback 1988, Shawn and Gus had gone to camp Tikihama and Shawn was mad at Gus for not being on his team for the piñata contest. Gus asked Shawn were his piñata was and Shawn said wouldn’t you like to know. When they drive of the camera moves to the lake where Shawn’s piñata that looks like a person is chained to a rock at the bottom of the lake. 20 years later, there is a counselor at a camp in a cabin alone. She is watching a movie with an ax murderer and then she gets abducted herself. At the office Shawn and Gus are arguing about tacos and burritos. When they are standing outside of the office they see Shawn’s piñata. When they look around they see Cunningham (the guy Gus mad his piñata with). He tells them about the girl, Annie, who had been abducted. Shawn takes this case because Gus makes him. At the station Lassie brings the chief flowers because they are the ones that he decided not to bring to his wife. He also brought the chief chocolate. At the camp Shawn and Gus meet the other counselors. Gus liked Ceci the other female counselor. Shawn was like really Gus really. When Shawn, Gus, and Ceci went to the cabins they went to the laundry shack were they found Annie’s clothes with what they thought to be blood stains. During this time Cunningham was acting all weird by having two left nurses’ shoes on and holding some kind of big doll. He also wouldn’t let the counselors talk about something. The two male counselors went alone and Gus and Ceci went together to find Annie while Shawn stayed in the laundry room. Shawn makes a phone call to someone while he is there alone. At the restaurant Lassie got there at 5:20 but his reservations weren’t until 7:00. When he goes to the bar he sees his wife Victoria (she isn’t that pretty) and they both had gotten there early. Back at the camp, Shawn had called Jules and she comes. When she gets there Shawn is hiding in a closet. He makes up some story to make himself sound brave but Jules knows why he was in the closet. While they were looking Billy (the body sculptor) and Clive (the water man) had split up. When Jason is looking he falls in a whole and can’t get out. Back at the cabin Shawn, Jules, Gus, Clive and Ceci were all there but Billy was still gone. Jules makes them all go inside and when they are Ceci tries to tell them something but Jason Cunningham walks in and doesn’t let her. He is mad at Shawn because Jules wasn’t supposed to be there because she is a cop. When everyone wants to go looking for Jason because he left, Shawn is the one who decides to go to mad up for Jules. In the Laundry cabin he finds Annie who he thinks is dead. When he is getting chased by a man with a knife Shawn trips and falls. Right then Jules comes out but Shawn tells her not to shoot. He realized what had happened and tells everyone. Right then Annie and Billy come back and are laughing.  Shawn is mad because Gus knew the whole time and then Cunningham apologized to Jules. They all go inside because it is storming and because Cunningham had Champaign and strawberries. While they are inside everyone is having fun except Jules. Shawn goes over and talks to her and she is like fine. When Shawn goes to get something out of the fridge he notices a dead body in the lake. When they go outside it is the creepy guy Shawn and Gus saw when they first got to camp who is also the crazy janitor. Jules doesn’t have cell signal so she is going to try to radio for an ambulance but unfortunately the road is blocked. Back at the restaurant, Lassie gives Victoria a necklace and wants a second chance. She says that is not why they are there and she gives him a folder containing their divorce papers. Back at the camp, they are all going to play strip cribbage except Clive, Annie, Jules and Shawn. Clive goes and watches TV, Annie goes and takes a hot shower, and Shawn and Jules look at the body. When Annie finishes her shower she thinks it is Jason but then realizes it isn’t and screams. When Jules and Shawn come back inside Billy is wearing nothing but his socks and shoes. He stands up and his junk is in Gus’s face. Back at the restaurant Lassie signed the papers while Victoria was in the bathroom. He tells her that when she walks out the door that he isn’t going to follow her because this is what she wants and this is what makes her happy and he does exactly that. Back at the camp, the lights had gone out so Billy went to fix it. In the laundry cabin Billy is killed too. Shawn realizes that Clive is the one doing this. When Jules wants to go Shawn goes with her. They find the bodies of Billy and Annie. Back where Gus, Ceci and Jason are Jason almost gets killed but doesn’t. When Ceci comes over to Shawn she is gasping for breath and points to Gus who is fighting with Clive in the pool. Shawn goes over to help Gus but Gus had won already. Shawn then fights with Clive only to win when Jules shoots Clive in the hand. In the end, Shawn and Jules are looking over the lake. He tells her what she did was one of the sexiest things he had seen. She tells him shhh and doesn’t understand how something so terrible could happen there. When Gus comes over he apologizes for making his piñata with Jason. Then they all look quietly over the lake standing side by side as the camera pans out with creepy music and the sound of water.

Truer Lies

Season 3 episode 14. Flashback 1987, Shawn is home early from school. He had lied to Henry but Henry knew that. He told Shawn that every lie was built on a kernel of truth. He told Shawn that if he keeps lying than no one will believe him. Present day, Shawn is putting in the station. He almost makes it in when Lassie kicks away the ball. Shawn gets to see “Lyin Ryan,” being taken into custody. Shawn asks Jules about him and she tells him that Ryan always sent them on wild goose chases and now the police think he killed his super. In the interrogation room Lassie interviews Ryan and, Ryan tells him about the restaurant that serves the Fries Quarto Caso del Fritos. At the end of the interrogation the Psychologist thinks that he is some kind of person who lies all the time and when no one believes them their lies escalate. Shawn and Gus still can’t believe that there is such a fry. The psychologist thinks he could have killed the super and Ryan’s prints on the murder weapon and the victim’s blood on his hands would be enough to prosecute him. Shawn tells him that is too bad because Ryan is telling the truth this time. Shawn and Gus go back to the office. They figure out where the restaurant is and they go there. Then Shawn and Gus go to Ryan’s apartment and figure out that Ryan was telling the truth. If he had killed his super the blood would be on his clothes not on just his hands. At the station Shawn and Gus want to speak to Ryan but the chief doesn’t let them, so Shawn and Gus bail him out. When Jules and Lassie find out Jules has the expression of “Uh Shawn why did you just do that?” Shawn has Ryan tell him about the assassins and what he remembers. Ryan tells Shawn the time 4:30 to 6, address 450, and name Tom. When Gus goes to sell his Pharmaceuticals he figures out where the address is and who is the victim is. Shawn and Gus call Lassie and Jules down to the hospital. Jules went in a hurry because she thought Shawn was hurt because he was at the hospital. When they talk to Tom, he has amnesia and Lassie is like Spencer you had to find the only guy in Santa Barbra who has amnesia. Outside the room Jules is sad because she wants to believe Shawn but doesn’t really know if she can. The whole time he is talking to her she has a very sad look on her face. While they were at the hospital the Lawyer who never showed up for court was found dead. Shawn realizes the lawyer, Tom, and Ryan all are connected. In the video from the parking garage Tom is running away. Shawn figures out that Tom saw the assassins kill the lawyer and they were trying to kill him. At the hospital, Lassie and Jules had gone to arrest Tom but Shawn and Gus went to help him. When they got there Tom was gone. When Shawn and Gus go back into the car Tom and Ryan are inside and they are being chased. Gus doesn’t believe them so he stops in an ally. When he does this the assassins come. Gus gets away with Tom, but Ryan and Shawn stay behind. They tell the guys that they have back up around the corner. The assassins don’t believe them at first, and then Ryan lies and tells them to look into his eyes and tell him that he is not lying. Then they realize that he is lying, but Lassie and Jules show up and they are like they were telling the truth. Then Jules says “apparently so.” In the end, Ryan swings by the Psych office and tells them that he has turned over a new leaf. He also tells Shawn and Gus that he is going to be a hot air balloon captain and he would even let them steer. Shawn and Gus aren’t sure if Ryan is telling the truth and follow him.

Any Given Friday Night At 10PM, 9PM Central

Season 3 episode 13. Flashback 1987, Shawn and Henry went to a live football game. Shawn talked to the quarterback and told him something about passing. The quarterback then gave Shawn the game ball. Present day, the chief had left 12 messages on Shawn and Gus’s phones. When they finally get down there the chief tells them they might have a missing person’s case. When they go to the morgue there is a foot with no body. Gus tries to leave but goes into the room where they keep the bodies for identification. Shawn notices a small scar on the foot and makes jokes because he doesn’t tell them what he sees. When they leave the chief tells Shawn that she thinks they are dealing with a psycho and they think that they were meant to find the foot. Shawn realizes it was someone who kicks. He thinks it is a soccer player but they wear shoes. Shawn and Gus think it is the kicker for the Thunderbirds. When they go to the field they find Jules and Lassie. Jules was the one who made the football connection because she had dated a Miami Dolphin. She told Shawn and Gus that there was just something about that uniform. They had tested the foot and it was Vlad’s (the kicker). At the field they got to talk to the coach, Sam Winslow (the quarterback Shawn met). Shawn and Gus were in such shock they didn’t say a word. Shawn, Gus, Jules and Lassie decide to split up. Lassie and Jules interviewed the players and Shawn and Gus found Vlad’s cell phone in his locker. From the locker room guy Shawn and Gus got old jerseys. When Shawn, Gus, Lassie and Jules meet up again Shawn asks Jules how he looks. She tells him that he looks like her 11 year old nephew in is Payton Manning pajamas. He tells her that her 11 year old nephew must be ruggedly sexy. Later that day Shawn and Gus go and ask the coach about them going undercover as part of the team. The next day when Jules comes to the practice she notices one guy who is trying for kicker. He is #99. When he turns around it is Shawn. Jules plays with her hair like she wasn’t looking at him. Shawn thinks he is really good but he actually is not. Jules and Shawn think that Vlad was with some Russian mob. Shawn figures out where Vlad’s body is but the police had already found it. Shawn tells the chief not to release the information till the next day. She gives Shawn 24 hours. Back at the training camp some of the players put bags over Shawn and Gus’s heads and bring them up to the top of the stadium. When the two guys who Shawn and Gus know were with Vlad when he died, come the men release Shawn and Gus. Shawn was supposed to go to an apology dinner with Henry. Henry didn’t want to see him. Shawn asked if he still had the football and then Shawn shows him that he brought Sam Winslow. They have steak and some beer then toss the football on the porch. Shawn asks Sam what he would do if his players were hazing. Sam told them that he had put it in the contract that if they were caught doing stuff like that they would be kicked off the team. Shawn and Gus got a call from Jules. She thinks that the death was accidental. Shawn and Gus figure out what happened and confront the guys. In the box the three guys try to kill Shawn and Gus but Sammy comes in. The men think that they will just get rid of him to. When they try that, Jules and Lassie come with black and whites. When they are arrested Shawn asks Sam if they can be on his team and Sam tells him never. In the end Sammy lets Shawn lead the team out of the tunnel. Henry can’t believe that Sam is letting him do this. Gus makes Jules come down to the tunnel but doesn’t tell her why. She is like it is my day off and the case is over what do you and Shawn want me to see anyway. Gus points and says that (Shawn leading the team out of the tunnel). When they camera goes back to Jules she has a big smile on her face and Gus notices. When they look back at each other she stops smiling because she doesn’t want him to know that she likes Shawn. Jules then does the hair think like when she first saw him in his jersey with Lassie.

Earth, Wind and... Wait for It..

Season 3 episode 12. Flashback 1987, Shawn comes home from school wanting to be a fireman. Henry tells him that he wants to be a cop and tells him bad things about being a fireman. Present day, a guy burns down a building. At the station the chief is having a closed door meeting. Shawn gets info from Jules then interrupts and meets Ms. Conrad. She tells Shawn that he doesn’t know what she wants. He guesses spot on. There was a fire she was an arson inspector and she isn’t getting the support from her department that she wants. At the scene they find out that she is a rooky and Shawn notices an external wall. Ms. Conrad’s supervisor thinks it is accidental because they found cigarette butts and empty alcohol bottles on the floor. When Shawn shows them the external wall he hacks it open with a piece of metal. When he does this he finds a burned skeleton. He tells her this wasn’t just arson it was murder. At the morgue Shawn starts coming up with names for the arson murderer. Shawn and Gus decide to go down to the fire station. While they are there they can’t talk to any of the guys because they are training so Shawn and Gus train with them. While they are there, there is another fire. With this new fire there is another body. Since Shawn and Gus are geared up they go into the building. Shawn thinks that the fire chief was setting the fires. Shawn and Gus call Ms. Conrad down to their office to tell her so she can make the bust. She thinks that is nice of them. While they are at the office another building has been burned with another body. In the body the police found some kind of device. They figure out who the guy was and that he had been killed 10 years ago, the same year the buildings were built. They think that all the people were killed in 98 the fire chief was also killed in this fire. Jules shows Shawn and Gus the list of the guys known accomplices for his crimes. Only one of them was still around. The police think he did it but Shawn doesn’t. Ms. Conrad, Gus and himself go to the station where they go into some guy’s office. Shawn has Gus set off the smoke alarm and everyone evacuates. Gus gets the information but the sprinklers go off and get Gus all wet. When they show Ms. Conrad she is like there are 20 other buildings that could be burned. Jules had given Shawn a heads up on what they are doing with the guy who was still around. When Shawn gets there everyone thinks the guy split but Shawn knows he is in the ceiling. He pokes the ceiling with some kind of stick and the guy falls out. In the interrogation room the guy isn’t talking to Lassie and Shawn offers to help. When Shawn goes in there the guy tells him that he heard birds chirping the night he was kidnapped and almost killed. Shawn, Gus and Henry realize which building it is they know that Morgan (Ms. Conrad) is there. When they go to the building they realize that Army Johnson (Morgan’s supervisor) was the one who was killing them and burning the buildings. He tries to light himself on fire but Gus jumps on him and the fire with a blanket and Shawn grabs Morgan. When Lassie and Jules get there they realize Shawn and Gus are inside. After a second they see a body. Shawn comes out carrying Morgan and Gus carries Army Johnson outside. Shawn and Gus tell Lassie and Jules and they are like what? In the end, right before Shawn goes to visit Morgan in the hospital he comes and give Gus a fire dog because he is volunteering at the fire station.

Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing

Season 3 episode 11. Flashback 1987, Henry makes Shawn figure out what he can hear. He had blindfolded him and went from the fridge to the stove then threw something away. When he takes of his blindfold he realizes Henry threw away his report. Shawn asked why and Henry said because it was Gus’s not his. Present day, Shawn didn’t pay the cable bill so they go to the station to get the check from the last case. While they are there Lassie had arrested a very bad criminal who was with one of the worst gangs in America. After he tells everyone the story the chief wants him. Two guys from some agency want to take the guy. Lassie gets mad because he had spent a lot of time on this. When he goes to get the guy the lights turn off and shots were fired. When everyone gets down to the cell Lassie is standing there with his gun over the guy’s dead body. They have to do a search. Lassie tells them that he didn’t kill Shavez. Back at the office the chief comes and tells Shawn and Gus that they have a search warrant for Lassie’s house and she wants them to stop it. While they are there Lassie comes home and gets put on suspension. Back at the station Jules is really upset because the chief already made her do other cases and temporarily reassigned her a new partner. Back at the office Lassie comes and he wants Shawn and Gus to help him. He has to stay there because his house is a crime scene and he didn’t want to live with either of them. When Shawn goes to the station he finds out that a guy named Kenny Logins was there that night. When they go to where Kenny would be the police are already there and he is dead. Since Lassie had gone out of the car and went walking Shawn and Gus leave him at Henry’s house. Shawn tells Henry that he thinks this killing was an inside job because Kenny lied to the police because he was scared to tell on that person. Henry tells Shawn not to go back to the station but obviously Shawn doesn’t listen. At the station there is no arrest record of Kenny Logins anywhere. When they are there they see someone else. When they go in the hall they see Jules. She is like what the hell are you guys doing here. Shawn tells her that there is something wrong with the records. When they look at them again with her two pages are missing. She thinks it is the guy from Internal Affairs. Shawn, Gus and Jules find the paper shredding. Back at the office Shawn and Gus are putting the pieces together when Henry comes. When Shawn hears the peanut guy come he goes outside. While he is there he sees Jules’s new partner. After they talk about Jules he knocks Shawn out and brings him to Lassie’s place. Using Shawn’s phone Drimer texts Lassie telling him to come to his place pretending to be Spencer. When Lassie gets there he sees Drimer and is like what the hell. He tries to find one of his guns but it isn’t there. During this time Henry and Gus go to the station and get Jules. Back at Lassie’s apartment, Lassie had a gun hidden in a food bowl. He shoots Drimer in the shoulder right as Jules and a whole bunch of other people come in. Jules tells Shawn she tracked Drimer’s cell phone with some special tracking device. And Shawn is like Lassie you were so cool just a minute ago. In the end, Shawn and Gus go to the station to get their check. When Lassie sees them he gives them some little coupon and their check from the chief. Gus had told Shawn to not chat up Juliet. Shawn said what Juliet. When Shawn sees Jules he of course goes over and talks to her.

Six Feet Under the Sea

Season 3 episode 10. Flashback 1987, Shawn and Gus are on a school fieldtrip. They want to ride a dolphin but Henry knows there plan and pretends he is sick. He is at the aquarium and tells Shawn that he doesn’t want him to lie just make it more of a challenge to catch him. Present day, Gus is taking Shawn to a funeral. The funeral is for a sea lion named Shabby. Because it was an open casket Shawn and Gus went up to see a body. When Shawn sees it he realizes that Shabby was murdered. At the funeral Shawn and Gus meet a lady named April. She works for the museum and then decides to meet Shawn and Gus at the office. Shawn and Gus are fighting over April before she gets to the office. Shawn backs off and Gus does too (not really). She helps them get into the aquarium by lifting them over a wall. She had misled them to think that she was still working at the aquarium but actually she had got canned last Tuesday. When Shawn is in there his tries to swim with the dolphin but got arrested. At the chief’s office Shawn and Gus were released because of what they told her and because Jules had spoken to April (they became friends) and realized this was about Shabby. Jules tells the chief that she is taking the lead on this case. When Lassie gets there he asks Shawn and Gus the victim’s name. Shawn says Shabby then spells The-Sea-Lion but Lassie thought it was thesealion. When he exhumes the body he gets mad and thinks it is not a murder. Shawn and Gus then steel Henry’s new boat so they could go to the reef to check things out. When they get back to the dock Lassie, Jules and Henry were waiting for them at the dock. Lassie says that Shabby had been shot with two 22 slugs. At the station Lassie interviews Lebata but he gets a phone call from the FBI so Jules interviews him. After he leaves, Jules and April talk. April tells Jules that she was thinking about telling Shawn that she was free. She then asks Jules if that would be okay. Jules is like uh and slurps her orange juice. Shawn and Gus go to steel Henry’s boat again but Henry doesn’t let them. They see an opportunity and go on the boat of the people they saw in the water before and in Lebata’s video. They sneak on and find Shabby’s tracker and 22 slugs. Shawn and Gus almost get caught but they hide under the floor. While they are there, Shawn texts Jules with his iphone and tells her to track Shabby’s device. They are actually on land not in the water. Shawn and Gus get out of the boat but when they do the guys see them they pull a gun and make Shawn and Gus go toward the truck. Shawn then tells him that he is stalling and then they ask why. Shawn tells him because of this. And Jules Lassie and other people come. Back at the office April comes by and tells Shawn that she doesn’t want to get the way.

Christmas Joy

Season 3 episode 9. Flashback 1987, it is Christmas and Shawn comes down early to see his presents. Henry tells him he came down early and makes him recreate what happened. Present day, Shawn and Gus are at the office and Gus’s sister is finally able to be here for the holidays. When they are about to leave a little girl named Brittany comes in and tells them to get Santa out of jail. She starts crying so they tell her they will get him out of jail. Back at Gus’s house they tell Gus’s sister, Joy, about the agency. When everybody leaves, Shawn and Joy start making out in the living room. At the station Shawn and Gus get Santa out of jail and then figure out that Brittany conned them. Shawn and Gus confront Santa at Santa’s village and then get kicked out. Back at Gus’s house Shawn Gus and Joy are going to bed. Shawn and Joy want to see each other alone again so they try to go into each other’s room but always miss each other. Shawn then goes downstairs to find Joy but finds Gus’s dad who then tells him he lost his job a month ago and was still pretending to work the night shift. Shawn goes back up and then goes to bed. In the morning Joy gets them into the village by being an elf. Shawn figures out that Carl and his partner Ted were trying to rob houses. When they call Lassie and Jules down to the village because they think something bad is going to happen. Lassie and Jules think Shawn is wrong and start to leave. When they do Shawn realizes that ted is dead and dressed up as a wise man.  When Shawn and Gus go sown to the station Carl said that he would only talk to them. Back at Gus’s house on Christmas morning everyone comes clean about the secrets Joy tells everyone about her and Shawn. Gus gets pissed and kicks Shawn out. Shawn evidentially goes to Henry’s house and Henry says that when a partner is lied to he gets mad. Shawn realizes that Carl and Ted another partner. Shawn calls Jules and they go through some stuff at the station. When she asks where Gus is Shawn told her that she said ewe and that it was inappropriate. Shawn said it was back in the day but it’s over. Jules asks why that would matter and they kind of argue about if it would or wouldn’t and finally go back to work. They figure out that they did have another partner and then Lassie arrests the partner for murdering Ted and the attempted murder of Carl. When Shawn saves Christmas for Brittany and Carl, Brittany gives Shawn a hug and took his wallet. Shawn knows and makes her give it back. Shawn then talks to Carl and then Carl hugs him. When Carl hugs him he also takes his wallet and then Shawn makes him give it back. Shawn goes back to Gus’s house and Gus is happy again. They all then have a wonderful Christmas dinner. In the end Shawn and Henry still have to do their tradition. Shawn gets Henry a psych iphone skin for the new iphone that Henry got him.

Gus Walks Into a Bank..

Season 3 episode 8. Gus went into the bank to make a deposit. While he is in there a guy with a gun takes everyone in there as a hostage including Gus. Shawn is unaware of this until Lassie and Jules show up on the scene and tell him. At the bank the chief had called the FBI and SWAT. When Shawn sees the guy doing the negotiating then he makes some jokes. While they are negotiating one of the lady’s is worried about her fiancé because he is a diabetic and will need to eat soon. Jules comes over and tells Launce (the negotiator) this. Shawn realizes that they are dating and Jules tells him that they are and that she was going to tell him. Shawn gets mad and tells Jules that he has a friend to save. When they try to give Phil (the robber) the pizzas he wants a regular person to do it. Shawn ultimately gets himself taken captive. He becomes Phil’s friend and negotiates for him. Shawn calls Launce and talks to Jules because of what he said half the Santa Barbra police knew that Jules and Cameron Launce were dating. When Henry heard that Shawn was being held hostage he went down to the scene. Eventually Shawn gets Phil to let him go and he does. Before his debriefing Shawn talks to Henry. Henry tells him that the negotiator is done negotiating and is going to go in with teargas. Lassie gets to debrief him and then tells Lassie that he knows where the wife is. Shawn brings Lassie and Jules there. In the van Shawn makes Jules tell him what she sees in Launce. She tells him and then they find the wife. Shawn figures out who the kidnappers are and where they are. When Shawn and Jules are outside the house he has her tell him when the next date is. She tells him tonight and Shawn tells her that as long as she is happy he is happy for her. Back at the bank Shawn figures out where the guy is but tells launce he is in the sewer. Lassie then retrieves the man from the duct. In the end Jules comes over to drop off Gus’s shoes. Her date with Launce was canceled and Shawn told her he is sad that it didn’t work out for them. She tells him that she rescheduled for tomorrow. Shawn asks her if she had eaten and she hadn’t so Shawn gives her a hotdog from his snack pulley and tells her that they plump when you cook them. She laughs at him and says “they plump,” In a funny voice. Shawn tells her literally and explains.

Talk Derby To Me

Season 3 episode 7. Flashback 1987, Henry had taken Shawn’s be bi gun because Shawn had played with it in the yard. Present day, a bunch of break-ins had been committed and Shawn figures out they are women that skate. He sends Jules undercover as a skater and her nickname is Maniac. Shawn and Gus are at Jules’s first meet. When they talk to her they pretend to be in “The Maniac Fan Club.” Jules shoos them off and then they go. Back at the station Jules is still wearing her skating stuff. The chief is mad because Jules spent $800 on skates. When she leaves the chief’s office she gets a call from one of the girls. They think it is another robbery so they send a bunch of black and whites down. It is nothing and Shawn takes the heat for Jules even though he told her not to go. Back at the office Shawn can’t figure the case out because Gus can’t help him because he is studying for his test. When Jules is at practice on of the girls named Westwood is leaving early. She made up some lame excuse and told it to Jules. When Jules is alone in the locker-room she finds scanners. She calls Shawn and tells him. Shawn and Gus are already at the track so they follow Westwood down to the river where they think she dumped a body. When she leaves Shawn and Gus go down to the river and see what they think is a body but turns out to be a manikin. When Shawn and Gus are there one of the derby girls sees them and calls her friend on the team and says they have a problem. Shawn and Gus then go to the store and realize this is identity theft. When they realize this they call Jules and tell her. While she is on the phone the two girls who are onto her come and talk and she hangs up on Shawn. Shawn then realizes that Jules is in danger and when they look in the back of Westwood’s truck they find Westwood dead. When they go inside they realize that the girls tagged Jules and are going to try to take her out. All the other girls except Jules end up falling in a pig pile. Outside the 4 girls get arrested and the chief acknowledges that Shawn and Jules work well together. Shawn tells the chief they are free for pretty much that starts with E including elephant theft. “Elephant theft? People steel elephants?” Jules asks. Shawn tells her it is a big problem. In the end Jules comes down to the track to bring back her equipment. Shawn asks her what is she doing there and she asks the same question to him. Shawn tells her it is a shame that they have this beautiful track and no one to skate on it. He has someone say that it will be a couples skate and of course Shawn gets Jules to skate with him. He purposely trips and makes her help him stable himself. When he tries to hold her hand she says no hands but then when the music fades out they end up holding hands anyway. Back at the station Gus is still worried about his exam but Shawn had just took it for him and passed. Gus was really mad and chased him around the office.

There Might Be Blood

Season 3 episode 6. Flashback 1987, Shawn and Gus are digging for oil in Henry’s backyard. When Henry gets home Shawn and Gus had hit one of the pipes and Henry tells them to put the yard together exactly as it was before. Present day, Shawn and Gus are on a boat with the chief. She tells them that they got an anonymous tip and this was unofficial business. When they are on their way a woman steps on the boat and she is the commander. She and the chief argue and Shawn realizes that is the chief’s sister (Jane Lynch). Back at the station the chief and her sister argue some more. Lassie thinks the sister is hot and wants to ask her on a date. Since this is Karen's sister Barbra’s jurisdiction she takes Shawn with her. When Shawn and Gus get back to the dock Barbra had left him a note saying to stay put and do nothing. Of course Shawn does something to get him on that oil rig. When they get there and look in the safety inspector’s (the guy that died) office Barbra finds them. They have an hour until the next shuttle from the boat leaves so they have an hour. Back at the station Lassie and Jules are working on a missing person’s case. Jules shows Shawn the picture because he and Gus are waiting for the chief to come out of the ladies room. Shawn talks to her and the chief uses the word sweet (sweet meaning awesome) and then tells Shawn to not tell anyone she said that. When Shawn and Gus go to the safety inspector’s house they find Jules’s missing person dead in the closet. Shawn calls Karen and Barbra to come to the house. Lassie and Jules confirm that it is the missing person. Shawn and Gus get fired by Barbra and Karen wants Lassie and Jules to look into this. Shawn comes up with an idea to get them back onto the ship. He wants to take Henry’s boat. Henry can’t take them because his boat isn’t big enough but is friend could. Back at the station Barbra tells Karen that she was right and they should work together and she is sorry. They know exactly where Shawn is going so they go to the oil rig too. On the rig Shawn and Gus go into the geologist lab. Shawn figures out them are drilling on a fault line. When Ashley (the owners daughter) comes in she is like Shawn what are you doing. They obviously like each other so she doesn’t kill him even though she has a gun. She puts Shawn and Gus in a room filled with toxic gas and then goes to the deck. When she goes up there Lassie, Jules, Karen and Barbra are all on board. The three lady’s say everything they know about where she was that night. While they are saying this Lassie realizes she is armed. When Ashley runs she fires randomly. Shawn bangs on the door and Lassie and Jules come and get them. In the room where Ashley, Karen and Barbra are they are all firing their guns. When Lassie and Jules get there they fire too. Then Shawn walks in and has Ashley give him the gun and Lassie takes her down. While he is down he asks Jules if Barbra saw that. In the end, Shawn and Gus give Karen a gift but she says she should give them a gift for getting her and her sister back together. When they are in Karen's office Barbra comes in and tells her that she wants to ask out Lassie. Barbra thinks that Karen likes him and the sibling rivalry is back on.

Disco Didn't Die. It Was Murdered!

Season 3 episode 5. Flashback 1978, Henry caught a guy who was going to bomb the station, and the chief thanked him on national television. Present day, Shawn is having a news reporter interview him. While the chief is telling Shawn about the new case he is having his picture taken through the window. When he looks at it he realizes that this was Henry’s biggest case. When Shawn and Gus get back to the office Henry is there. Then he leaves because Shawn tells him no. when they get to the DA’s office Henry beat them by 8 minutes. When they find the information and go back to the office the chief calls wondering why Henry was at the DA’s office. Shawn tells her that it was some other guy because she told him specifically not to involve Henry. When they look at the report Shawn sees that there is some evidence they have but was never entered. When they go look at these things they find a pawn shop slip. When they go to the pawn shop they figure out that it was a car. When they find the car they buy it and then find a film strip. When they get the pictures made Gus had cleaned off the car and there was a picture of Franks and some other people, a boy and a girl. During this Lassie and Jules get a diamond robbery case and a stolen plastic case. They take the diamond case and give Buzz the other one. Back with Shawn, Gus and Henry, Henry knows a guy named Pookey who would know who the people were. When they go to where Pookey works they find him and he tells them who the people are. Back at the station Lassie and Jules had gotten into the wrong case and bitten buy some small wild animal. When Buzz tells them that he gets to see real live pirates Lassie and Jules tell him that to work with the coast guard you have to be a detective and that it was department policy (they are obviously lying). Back at Henry’s house Henry doesn’t want to go on the case anymore. Shawn and Gus trick him into coming with them to find the partners. When they find them they figure out there is another partner a 4^th person. When they find the 4^th person he is dead on the ground. Henry figures out that whoever was there made another bomb and told Shawn. When the police go to the married people’s house they find Franks with a bomb. Shawn realizes that the Fords (the other two married people from the group) were behind all this. He proves it by activating the bomb. Gus runs away and after about 30 seconds Mr. Ford deactivates the bomb. Lassie tells Shawn don’t ever do that again. In the end Henry tells Shawn thank you and when they go inside the station Lassie and Jules are changing the story for themselves and being interviewed instead of Shawn. When Gus is driving his new car it breaks down in the middle of the road.

The Greatest Adventure in the History of Basic Cable

Season 3 episode 4. Monday 8:15pm, Shawn, Gus and Henry are all sitting on the wrong side of the table in the interrogation room. When the chief, Lassie and Jules come in they say they need to know where the gold is. Shawn says to figure it out they would have to go back always (about 20 years). About 20 years ago, Shawn’s uncle jack is pretending to be his dad telling treasure hunting stories, but in the middle Henry comes in and ruins the whole thing. Present day, Lassie has no idea what that has to do with the gold. Sunday 10:20pm Shawn, Gus, and Henry went to a movie that wasn’t so good. When they look at the house someone is inside. Shawn and Henry go in with something that they could use to stop a person, but when they go in they find Uncle Jack. He brought presents and then tells them he wants help finding actual treasure. Henry of course doesn’t believe in these kinds of things so he is like there is no proof it’s not real. Then Jack shows them all the treasure map. Monday 9:45pm, Lassie and Jules think Shawn can see them through the glass window in the interrogation room. The chief then tells them to go get to the bottom of this. Jules is like what we are just going to let this guy listen to everything (looking at some guy in the suit in the corner). Sunday 11:15pm, Jack was telling Shawn and Gus about the guy who stole the gold. Present day, Gus thinks Shawn is changing the story and Henry wants to be in a separate room and says he will tell them everything. Monday 10:15am, Shawn, Gus and Jack go to some place and pretend to be some other people. Jack had left out the part that the map was missing a piece. When Shawn looks at the pictures Shawn figures out where the map starts. Monday 11:25am, when they got there they weren’t the only ones who found the light house. Tuesday 2:30am, Lassie wants Shawn to tell the chief everything. Shawn keeps making jokes and Jules gets mad. She tells him that she is the only one in that room who would probably care to see him get out of this mess. They tell them that the men who chased them were Jack’s old partners. Monday 2:00pm, Shawn, Gus and Jack are all tied up in a cabin by Jack’s old partner Mark. Mark took the map and all the cell phones. Later Shawn figures out that Gus is strapped with his work cell. They call Henry and he goes and gets them. Lassie doesn’t get why Mark trashed Henry’s place if he already had the map. Monday 4:15pm, Shawn figures out what he was looking for, a key that Jack had hid in Henry’s place. Henry decides to go with them and same guys in a blue car follow them. Monday 5:00pm, Shawn, Gus, Jack and Henry find where the bell tower used to stand and Shawn figures out where the treasure is. When they go there Gus looses a puma and they get caught buy some guys with big guns. Tuesday morning right now, Shawn figures out where the treasure is and that the guy in the suit was a partner of jack and he wasn’t Spanish. Shawn and Gus find the treasure and split. When they get to the road Jack comes and gets the treasure and drives away. When all the partners are pointing their guns at Shawn and Gus the police arrive. Gus is like what the hell just happened. What happened is at the station Shawn realized that the guys accent is Argentinean and rights it on a note to Jules also telling her that she smells nice. She knew exactly what to do. In the end Henry comes to get Shawn. Shawn tells him that he has the gold and he gave Jack rocks and a penny.

Daredevils!!

Season 3 episode 3. Flashback 1987, the kids in Shawn’s class wanted him to ride his bike of a ramp and over a kids head. Right before jump Henry grabs Shawn and tells him to never do that again. Present day, Shawn and Gus are at a show where a biker does crazy stupid stunts his name is Dutch the Clutch. When he did his stunt Shawn saw that his bike had been tampered with. Shawn and Gus try to stop Gus but it is hard because everything he does puts his life in jeopardy. Dutch’s biggest rival El Diablo Shawn and Gus find is actually his son. In the meantime Jules and the chief notice that Lassie has been on bad dates lately and is feeling sad. The chief tells Jules to find Lassie a girlfriend. Back with Shawn and Gus, once they know that Dutch’s son is the rival and that he wouldn’t kill his father then they think Manny the agent is behind all this. They go to the station and ask Jules what she is doing because she is looking for a girlfriend for Lassiter. She tells them that she has seen Manny in the station for some get rich quick scams. When Shawn and Gus go to be stunt trainees they see Manny there and he got another gig right then for Dutch. Right before this Dutch had told Shawn and Gus about his bikes Vikki (that is his wife’s name too). At the gig Dutch has to jump from a building with only a little glider thing. Manny tells him that he needs to wear the black one. Shawn saves his life because the glider would have ripped on the way down. Back at his trailer Shawn and Gus tell Dutch the truth. Dutch tells Red to get them out of there. On Red’s arm Shawn sees Vikings on his arm, but the V-I-K-I were in a different font than the I-N-G. Shawn and Gus realize that Red dated Vikki before she was married to Dutch. On Lassie and Jules steak out, she tells him about the dating thing and that he could meet her friend later. Because she has no reception she goes and finds a “hot spot.” At Dutch’s latest gig the son lets Shawn and Gus go in and see if anyone has tampered with the bike. When they are in there they see Red but he doesn’t touch the bike. When Shawn and Gus look into the room they see Red give Dutch medication. They realize that Dutch has pancreatic cancer. When they leave they go to the trailer and find an insurance policy. When Shawn sees it he knows that Dutch is trying to kill himself so his family gets money. Before he last stunt Shawn talks to him and Dutch does the stunt safely. In the end Jules walks back to the car and sees Lassie chatting it up with a lady. Lassie thought it was Jules’s friend and she knows who she is and tells him she is a hooker. When they flash their badges she leaves and Jules is like Carlton.

Murder?... Anyone?... Anyone... Bueller?

Season 3 episode 2. Present day, Shawn and Gus are having their high school reunion and a girl Shawn used to like, Abigail Lytar, (Rachael Leigh Cook), and the old prom king and queen (they are now married). When Shawn is talking to Abigail, Gus asks him to go get folding chairs from the cafeteria. Shawn doesn’t know where the cafeteria is so Abigail takes him. When they are in the hall way Shawn makes up a story to make her think during their senior year he didn’t stand her up. While his is telling her about psych she doesn’t believe him and laughs. When they are talking Shawn sees some guy fall off the roof of the school. When Shawn, Gus and Abigail go outside there is no body. Gus tells him no body no crime. When they get back inside Shawn calls Lassie. Lassie is standing in the other side of the table but doesn’t see Shawn and Gus standing there. When they go talk to him he says no body no crime. Shawn calls Jules and she comes down. Shawn thinks she looks as if she is going to the prom. She told him she was also supposed to be at her reunion. Shawn wants to solve this case to impress Abigail so he asks Gus if he can go to the library and roof. Gus doesn’t have keys so he has Henry and Maddie bring him the box of old stuff from high school. When Shawn is outside with Abigail they almost kiss but then Shawn figures out who the murderers are. Back with Lassie’s date he finds medication in her purse that weren’t prescribed.  Back with Shawn he thinks the murderers are Howie and Ilene (the prom king and queen). Shawn goes into the shop sees Henry has a chat and find out who was murdered. When Jules searches his name there was something that came up. When Shawn and Gus found the body they brought it backstage and called Howie and Ilene up for prom king and queen. While they are up there Shawn unveils everything in front of the whole class. After that he talks to Abigail about the night at the pier and starts rambling on. They kiss and she says pretty much perfect. Shawn repeats that while he looks at Jules across the room. They don’t know what that felt like and decided closure. In the end Gus writes a letter to the school people saying to see them as they are, a snarky psychic (Shawn), an uptight pharmaceutical sales man (Gus), a pretty female blonde detective (Jules), and a not so pretty usually unlikey detective (Lassie).

Ghosts

Season 3 episode 1. Previously on Psych, Shawn doesn’t care what his father does with his life, and Shawn’s mom comes to town. Flashback 1995, Henry arrests Shawn for stealing a car. At the station Lassie is a young cop and doesn’t know anything so Henry has to do it himself. Present day, Shawn’s mom (Cybill Shepherd) is back and he thinks it is weird. At Gus’s job his boss tells him he either is fired or he can quit his other job. The next day Shawn’s mom is at the station (she calls him Goose) and has to do Lassie psych evaluation. Lassie thinks he is being recorded but he is not. Back at Gus’s other job Shawn is there and all of a sudden Bianca (the Vice President of the company’s assistant) to go to the VP’s office. He wants Shawn and Gus to solve a case for him about ghosts. At his house Shawn is pretending to be a ghost by hiding on Gus. When he finally reveals himself he is wearing the guy’s bathrobe. When Shawn and Gus are talking the boss comes home. Later in the evening the dog starts going ballistic. And after that they see a ghost outside. Gus had told his boss that his nick name was fearless Gus. Shawn doesn’t like fearless Gus because they have to go outside and catch the ghost. Shawn catches the ghost but only the dress is there. Back at the station Lassie is having his second evaluation.  And Shawn’s mom thinks he is exactly like the character Lassie tells Jules he was being like. Back at the house there were a lot of weird things going on but then Shawn had to have dinner with his mom so he left. When Shawn got there his mom had to go to the bathroom but Henry was there. Shawn argued with Henry and then left. Back at the house Gus and the boss get a call from his house. There is only another extension in the attic so Gus goes and checks it out when Shawn sees him he says Gus and hangs up the phone. Back at the station Lassie is having another evaluation and completely opens himself up to Madeleine aka Maddie (Shawn’s mom). Then tells Lassie that she is Shawn’s mother and he is like great. Back at Gus’s office they are with the boss and he doesn’t believe the ghost thing anymore because the phone said Gus. After Gus leaves Shawn talks to the boss alone. Shawn gets him to give Gus a raise and lets him still do psych. In the end Shawn goes back to the station and wants to take his mom to a movie but she is going out with Henry. Shawn and her talk and she tells him that she left Henry not that Henry left her.

Shawn (and Gus)of the Dead

Season 2 episode 16. Flashback 1987, Shawn saw Henry watching a scary movie and then doesn’t want to go upstairs. When Henry sees him he tells him he was scared. Henry tells Shawn that dead people don’t walk. They might do a whole bunch of other things that scared Shawn but they don’t walk. Present day, there is a stolen mummy at 4:30 am and Lassie isn’t happy. The assistant curator wants Shawn to come down and solve the case. When Jules calls him he wants to watch a movie over the phone when he gets down there and sees his plaque without Gus’s name he is upset for Gus. When the go into the room Shawn figures out that the mummy walked out on its own. Shawn figures out that he has to beat the system like the mummy or the night guard (nobody knows where he is at the moment). After Shawn beats it Shawn tells Sophie (the curator) that he and Gus will be on night duty. When they are there they get locked inside. When Jules calls and says she found the night guard’s car and that the shop gave him a loner, Shawn and Gus see the car next to the blueberry in the parking lot. When Shawn and Gus find an old fashioned fridge they open it. When they do they find the guards body inside. That morning when the guard comes Gus runs out screaming. Back at the office Shawn tells Gus no more spooky stuff and mummies. When Shawn and Gus go to see Lassie he is exhuming a body. When Jules gets there she tells Shawn that the guy was strangled by hands rapped in cloth and had spoors from the coffin on him. Back at Henry’s house he is mad because Shawn didn’t answer his phone to talk. Shawn had dropped his phone and it is broken. Shawn asks him a question about what you do if your suspect doesn’t exist anymore and Henry told him background checks. Then Henry wanted to hang out on Saturday but Shawn leaves. Back at the station Jules is throwing the chief a going away party. Back at office Shawn and Gus go backward in the mummy’s trail they realize that he was in the warehouse. When they see the camera in the field they ask the girl if she has Tuesday night’s footage. In 1 frame they see the mummy and in 1 frame it drives a van away. When Shawn sees the van he knows where it is. When they get there, the van drives away and they drive after it. When it crashes into a tree Shawn and Gus see the mummy inside when they go to tell Lassie, he doesn’t care. Shawn realizes the same guy killed both guys and reveals that to everyone. In the end the chief is about to leave when the mayor calls and begs her to stay. At Henry’s house hen Shawn is about to leave he answers the door and his mom is there.

Black and Tan: A Crime of Fashion

Season 2 episode 15. Flashback 1987, Shawn has picture day and he came down not wearing his new sweater vest. Shawn told Henry that it wasn’t working for him and his mother. Henry asks him how a cop knows when someone is lying and Shawn says when it sounds like that. And he goes back upstairs. Present day, it’s Gus’s birthday and Shawn takes him to the most exclusive modeling fall fashion dinner party. Gus thinks he is going to have to work but made it very clear that he didn’t want to work on his birthday. Shawn pretended his name is Black and that Gus’s name is Tan. Shawn got them on the VIP list and Gus loves his present. When they are there Gus sees one of the models that he is in love with and goes and talks to her. When the chairman goes and stands up to talk the microphone is very low. When he goes to raise it he gets electrocuted and dies. “Are you sure you don’t want to work today?” says Shawn. After a while Lassie and Jules come. Lassie is like why are you here and Shawn tries to take the case but Gus doesn’t let him. When Shawn goes back to Henry’s house to drop off his half boots and the chief is there with her friend Susan. When they are there Jules called the chief and said the electrical system was tampered with and the chief goes to the station. When Shawn leaves he tries to talk about the case but Shawn says that they aren’t working until midnight. They go to the arcade and while they are playing Shawn thinks about the case. During this time Lassie doesn’t know what to do with all the people. At midnight Shawn and Gus go to the station to help Lassie and Jules. When they go to the loft of the models they are staying there. When Shawn and a bunch of other models go out for drinks Henry finds Shawn. Everyone else left but Shawn was still with Henry. Henry tells him that Susan called twice in the past 2 days. Shawn sees one of the workers go into the studio to work and talks to her. He tells her that her designs are very good. When he calls Gus again it goes straight to voicemail. Shawn goes into the loft and goes to sleep. The next day at the funeral Shawn realizes that Gregor (the guy who died) was having an affair so the wife killed him. Shawn calls Jules because Gus doesn’t want to blow his cover. At the end of the wife’s speech she kisses her dead husband (gross) and dies. Secret (one of the models) was the one having the affair and the police think she killed them both. When she is talking to them she tells Lassie and Jules that it was probably Emily (the lady Shawn met) because she is 3^rd in line so now the company is hers. Lassie sends Jules to talk to Emily and so she goes. While she is there the people make her try on a pair of shoes and she loves them. Emily tells her that she should not dress boring and wear something more fun. Back at the office Gus is putting lavender on his head because his girlfriend like lavender scent. The chief was really upset because Henry hadn’t called Susan. While she was on the phone with Shawn, Susan called her and Henry called Shawn. When they go out to dinner she takes off her sweater and goes from being the boring woman who covers herself completely to the woman who is wearing a skimpy little tank top. During that time Shawn and Gus go to the station. Lassie had gotten a new tie and when Jules walked in she looked amazing. Shawn Gus and Lassie were speechless. In the chief office the chief says “what happened to you”. Jules is a woman and she is choosing to dress like one. She tells them that she didn’t think Emily killed the designers but Shawn tells her that they were stealing her designs so there is the motive. Lassie tells them that the wife was poisoned and Shawn remembers the last drink she had was given to her by Emily. Back on the date Susan is like crazy and wants to “eat Henry”. Henry calls Shawn while he was in the restaurant and says that she is a carnivorous mink. When everyone goes to the studio Emily is almost dead. When she wakes up she tells Shawn se had a fruit smoothie. Later that night Shawn and Gus go to a party for the dead people. When Lassie and Jules get there they tell Shawn that Emily had the same poison in her as Chowbella (the wife). When Shawn gets up on stage he tells everyone what happened. Chowbella killed Gregor and Gregor killed Chowbella. Emily accidently drank Chowbella’s drink. In the end Henry is going on another date with Susan and he wanted to tell Shawn that he was going to move on with his live. He is wearing a turtle neck so Shawn realizes he has a hickey and thinks that is why he invited over Shawn. When Henry tells him that he is moving on Shawn doesn’t care. He just doesn’t want to know about it.

Dis-Lodged

Season 2 episode 14. Flashback 1987, Shawn and Gus started their own club but then Henry ruined it. Present day, Henry had bailed on Shawn to go camping and Shawn was all excited. When Shawn and Gus are out to breakfast they see Henry drive by. They follow him to the Santa Barbra Monarch Lodge. Henry happens to be a member. Shawn watches the handshake so he and Gus could get in. when they go in first they look at the pictures. When they see the picture of Henry Shawn goes into the room and loudly says he needs an explanation. When they see what’s happening everyone had been quiet and a guy was dead on the floor. “Dad what the hell are you into” Shawn says. Henry has the people come over there and Lassie and Jules come. Lassie is like Shawn why are you here and Shawn says he father is a member. Lassie tells him no law enforcement is aloud and some guy comes over and tells him that’s bogus. This guy is Lassie’s father-in-law soon to be not. Back at the office that night Lassie comes by wanting to hire Shawn and Gus as a favor because he can’t pay them. Since Henry is a member and the people at the Lodge like legacies they let Shawn become a member. Gus has new clients and Lassie is staking out Shawn. Shawn goes and sits in his car. While he is in there Jules calls and Shawn was talking to her with Lassie. Jules tells Shawn and Lassie that the guy was killed by Brazilian snake venom. When Shawn and Gus pay a visit to Lassie father-in-law Shawn notices airport codes on all the crates that are Brazilian. When Shawn goes down to the station he tells Lassie they have a pretty solid suspect. The bad news is….. Right when he says this Jules comes in with Lassiter’s father-in-law. While Lassie keeps his father-in-law waiting Shawn and Gus go to the dead guy’s house and while they are there someone else comes. When he leaves Shawn looks around the room and realizes that there is a safe. Shawn and Gus figure out how to crack the code and grab the book inside. They realize one of the doctors at the lodge is scamming the lodge and the dead guy found put who it was. Shawn couldn’t read the notes because they were doctor’s shorthand notes. Later Shawn and Gus go to 4 of the doctors in the lodges practice and no one matched the handwriting. When Shawn and Gus go to Dr. Downs, Gus talks while Shawn snoops around the office. When Shawn is there he sees the Doctor’s handwriting and knows it’s him. When he gets back to the car he calls Lassie and Jules. When they get to the Lodge Shawn tells everyone that Roger Downs killed the guy and how he did it. After his speech he said it was all because of Lassie. When Shawn and Gus leave Lassie’s soon not to be father-in-law decided to make him a brother. In the end Henry wants to still go on their father son weekend but Shawn doesn’t want to go. When they walk to the other part of the office Shawn shows Henry the new additions. He took the pictures of Henry and him from the lodge on the way out. Henry said he wanted to leave it there so he could watch Shawn all the time.

Lights, Camera...Homicido

Season 2 episode 13. Flashback 1987, Shawn sees Henry watching a soap opera and Henry makes Shawn tell him what the lady is doing. Shawn tells him that she is looking into the light then spoils that the people on chips aren’t actually cops. Present day, Shawn and Gus get called down to a movie studio because someone had been murdered. It is one of the guys from a Spanish soap opera that Gus watches. They have the actor who stabbed the dead guy (Gus’s favorite character) on camera. Jules had solved the case and Shawn is like what we just got here. Gus really wants this case and Shawn is like Lassie is right. When Shawn watches the video again he realizes that the actor didn’t kill the guy who was murdered. Shawn has the chief give him 1 day to solve the case. Shawn and Gus go back to the set and talk to the main cast and the writer. After Shawn and Gus decide to split up, Shawn goes to the writer and Gus goes to the prop room. When Shawn talks to the director he tells them what he thinks the actor should do better and he gets to play the part. In the prop room Gus learns that the blade could have switched hands over 6 times. Gus thinks he is the only one working and Shawn tells him he would work but he can’t because Gus was standing in his eye line. Back at the station Lassie and Jules interviewed a cast member and got nothing except for that most of Santa Barbra watches this show. When Henry turns on the television and saw Shawn on the show. At the set Lassie tells Shawn and Gus to leave but Shawn is working as an actor. The next day Jorje (the supposed killer) tried to off him and was in the hospital. When Lassie and Jules get there Shawn and Gus are sitting at his bedside and Lassie is mad. When the nurse comes in she tells Lassie and Jules that they need to leave and that Shawn and Gus are the only ones aloud in the room. Lassie is like how and the lady tells them that they are the only ones on the friends and family list. “But you’ve only know him for a week” Lassie says. Then Jules says “how does he make friends so fast?” After they leave Shawn realizes that he didn’t try to commit suicide. This was attempted murder. Then the director gets arrested because the suicide note is an exact quote from the script. When Henry comes to the set Shawn realizes that it wasn’t the actors it was the fans. Someone had blurred the lines between reality and the soap opera. When Shawn and Gus go visit the writer in prison he tells them he likes it because he can think. Shawn tells him he thinks it was a fan, but how is he going to find one of 1000. He is going to have the writer make it so he betrays the girl (who the crazed fan is “saving”) so he won’t have to find them they will find him. Back at the station Jules had met one of the new police women, who had just transferred there and was trying to be friendly, and the lady filed and interdepartmental harassment charge against Jules. Back at the jail Shawn is telling the writer that they have problems they will have to do the show live on Friday to stay on schedule. Shawn brings Lassie and Jules down to catch this person. They 1) have access to the script. 2) Are going to try to make the murder weapon real. When they are on set Shawn tries to tell the lady not to shoot but she doesn’t understand. In the middle of the episode they point out the real killer and Lassie arrests her. Since he is live on the air he decides to say something. He says in Spanish “hello… my name is…. Inspector Carlton Lassiter…. I like cheese.” Since Jules speaks Spanish she is like really that’s what you choose to say. In the end Shawn’s character almost dies when he is watching it with the real actor.

The Old and the Restless

Season 2 episode 12. Flashback 1987, Shawn and his grandfather are “feeding the birds” but they are actually girl watching. His grandpa asks him what one of the girls is like and Shawn starts profiling her. His granddad tells him to use his imagination. When Henry comes over they act natural, and Henry tells his dad that Shawn still has to do the dishes. Present day, Shawn and Gus are trying to figure out where a man went missing from. When they see a fence with a “High Voltage” sign Shawn tells Gus to touch it. When they are arguing some kind of security guard comes over and makes them leave. Shawn and Gus go to Henry’s house and tell him they are setting up a steak out and that they need his stuff. Henry asks them where the person went missing from and it was a retirement home (one of the nicest). Henry says he can go in there and crack the case in 8 minutes and they have a deal. The next morning when they are in the truck Shawn and Henry argue while Gus is sleeping. They get out of the car and go to walk in. Shawn makes Henry put on his glasses and he takes some guys hat, spills coffee on him and gives him a cane. When he goes up to the desk he tells the lady he is checking in his grandfather. He tells the lady that Henry is some guy who had just gotten off the waiting list. Henry asked him how he knew. Shawn told Henry he called the actual guy and said that the home had big rats, and that he could come back in 3 days. Shawn and Gus have to do a lot of paperwork for the lady while Henry gets a tour. Back at the station Lassie and Jules have to take the deputy Mayors son with them to show him what crime will do for him. He has started to become a big trouble maker by destroying public property. Back at the old folks home Shawn and Gus go to Henry’s room and talk to their client (a security guard who works there part time). He tells Shawn, Gus and Henry everything that he knows. When he leaves Shawn looks at the calendar and sees that the missing guy was training for a marathon. Shawn discovers the path where he would run, and on a rock finds his blood and next to it his pedometer, but they still can’t find his body. When they go to the hospital they ask for a John Doe and the lady says visiting hours just ended. When they leave they go into the closet and dress up like doctors. They find Oswald (the guy who disappeared) and think they solve the case because the doctors said that he accidently took too much of his medication. When Lassie and Jules take the kid they take a squad car and the kid says the back smells like something had died. Then he tells Jules that she is beautiful and her hair smells like strawberries, Lassie corrects him by saying peaches and Jules smiles to herself. Then the kid tells Lassie to chill and wonders how he could work with this hot woman (Jules) all day. Lassie tells him that she is a good cop blah blah blah but she is NOT HOT. When they go to the home they see Henry. 1) Henry liked it at the home. 2) Henry knew the case wasn’t solved. When they were saying this one guy was being taken by paramedics and another guy fell into the pool because something had happened to him too. Right before this the food lady told Shawn, Gus and Henry that the food at the place where her mother lived was one step above cat food. Back at the station Shawn tells everyone that someone is trying to kill these people. Back at the home Shawn Gus and Henry all figure out that all 3 victims all had high BP and that they were probably on the same medicine. Henry tells Shawn and Gus about the pharmacy robbery a few weeks ago. They figure out they need a medicine list to see who has high blood pressure. Shawn and Gus make Henry pretend to get hurt so they can sneak into Pamela’s office and look at the files. When they are in there they find the waiting list and Shawn figures out who the bad guy is. Back at the station Lassie is having a con lie to the kid JJ and tell him prison is horrible but then he says he can’t lie and tells JJ the truth that he doesn’t think prison is that bad. Back at the home Shawn tells everyone that Meredith Cloverfield was the one who was making the people overdose on their meds because she could just slip them into their food. While he is in the middle the real guy who was supposed to be there for Henry came and Shawn and Gus had to go. In the end Shawn and Gus get paid for their work and the kid won’t listen to Lassie at all he only is interested in what Jules is wearing and where she works out. Jules asks the chief if she can speak to the kid alone and the chief lets Jules use her office. Jules talks to him and they all watch through the windows. When the kid comes out he looks scared and goes and apologizes to Lassie for everything he has done. Then he looks back at Jules and she points and he says to Lassie that he thanks him for keeping the streets of Santa Barbra safe. When he turns around Jules snaps her fingers and he sits down quietly in the chair. When she walks out everyone has an expression what did she do to that kid and watches her walk down the hall.

There's Something About Mira

Season 2 episode 11. Flashback 1987, Henry took Shawn and Gus to a fancy restaurant and they see someone propose. Shawn and Gus think it is disgusting to spend the rest of their lives with women and they will never get married. Present day, Shawn and Gus are at the batting cages and they see someone who has been following them when they go and talk to him he says that he is a private investigator hired by Gus’s wife. Shawn laughs and tells him that neither of them are married. Shawn and Gus go away and talk and Shawn is like why aren’t you laughing. Then Shawn realizes Gus is married. Shawn is like how come you never told me. Gus explains about Mira (his wife) and then they go to see her. Back with Lassie and Jules, they are chasing a criminal and Jules has a hunch that he is going to jump the fence and collars him. Back at the station she says she is very good at deductive reasoning. Buzz then says that he is thinking about taking the detective exam and was wondering if she could help him study. Lassie says that since he got the highest grade on his exam (97.2%) that he should study him. Jules leaves and Lassie asks the chief if someone scored higher than him. She says that she thinks Jules did. Lassie asks what she got and she said it wasn’t much higher but she got 98.4% and she doesn’t want this to become a problem between them. When Shawn and Gus go to the vineyard they see Mira and Gus can’t speak. When he finally does she has them taste some of her family’s wine. When she goes to get it Shawn is like this isn’t the plan (the plan was for Gus not to get sucked back into “Hurricane Mira”). She tells Gus the reason she wanted to see him was because she was getting married. He asked when it was and she said tomorrow. Then next day when they get there Gus thinks he is the groom because the actual groom wasn’t there. When Mira’s mother announces that Mira’s fiancé Jan (pronounced Yon) wasn’t there she was hysterical. Gus and Shawn offer to go help her find Jan, because they don’t have any other cases at that time. Back at the station Lassie is still mad about Jules scoring higher than him on the exam and was doing all kinds of different things to prove that he was a better cop. When Lassie finished his paperwork he tells Jules that he didn’t want her to have to be backed up on paperwork. When he goes to give the chief the work she walks out of her office telling Jules that her reports were excellent, then asks her to translate some papers into Spanish. Lassie is mad because she can speak Spanish and he can’t and she tells him it was a requirement in Miami. When she goes and gets coffee it is really hot. Lassie takes a big sip and smile. She says “please don’t tell me you just burned your mouth because you are still pissed that I scored higher than you on the exam.” Back with Shawn and Gus, they are talking to Mira about Jan and they ask for some pictures. Shawn figures out that the pictures were photo shopped. Gus wanted to be alone with Mira so he tells Shawn to go talk to her parents. When Shawn talks to her mom she brings him into the storage cellar where they keep a lot of the wine and only a privileged few get to go down there. Her mom obviously has a ting for Shawn because she tells Shawn that she likes her wine like she likes her men “white and harry.” Shawn is like that makes no since at all. When they are down there Mira’s dad walks in and then Shawn and her mom act natural. He is like what is going on. Shawn talks to the dad about how they never got to meet Jan (Shawn calls Jan like it is spelled not like how it’s said). Back at the psych office Shawn tells Gus that Jan doesn’t exist because he had the same shaving scar in all the pictures that were taken in different places at different times. At the station Shawn tells everyone that Jan didn’t exist. The chief is like are you sure and Shawn said he was. She asked him to explain the man at the door. When they turned around Jan was standing at the door. Mira’s family and Gus were all mad at Shawn and Lassie just thought it was funny. Shawn wants to investigate further but Gus doesn’t. When Shawn goes to Jan’s Mira is there he talks to her for a second then asks her why she photo shopped the pictures. She told Shawn that because of what happened with Gus her parents had been skeptical about every guy she has dated because what happened with Gus. Jan photo shopped some pictures to make it look like they had been together for a while instead of for a few weeks. Shawn asks where Jan is and Mira tells him gulfing with her dad. Shawn takes Gus gulfing and decides to do the back 9. When they are gulfing Shawn sees Jan arguing on the phone. Shawn and Gus follow him to a nearby tree and sees him talking with the guy Mira hired to find Gus. When he leaves Shawn and Gus talk to Jan and ask him questions. They figure out that he was in a relationship before Mira and had to get out of it. Gus talks to Shawn alone for a second and tells Shawn that Jan is telling the truth. Back at the station Lassie and Jules are timing each other to see who can get the guy to crack first. While they are in the middle the chief needs them for and important case. When Shawn and Gus get there Jules says it’s about Mira’s fiancé. Shawn says that he knew Jan was a crook and tells Jan that the game is over and to tell him what he knows. When Shawn goes into the room Jan is dead. Back at the psych office Shawn is like I can’t believe he is dead. Later Shawn realizes that that the detective guy was the one who killed Jan. when Shawn goes to tells Lassie, Jules and the chief Buzz walks in with the prints from the refrigerator truck case. Shawn tells them he got a 100 on that exam when he was 15. Buzz says that the prints belong to the “private detective guy” and names his name and his aliases including Mace the one he used with Shawn and Gus. Shawn realizes that Mace is at the winery and Gus and Mira are there too. When Shawn gets there he tells everyone what he makes up that happens that makes Gus look good. In the end Mira tells Shawn that she and Gus are going to do all different things together. Shawn makes up a story about a case that they have to do so Gus doesn’t have to go. Shawn says goodbye to Mira because she is going to Greenland to save polar bears. When she leaves Gus thanks Shawn for everything and then Shawn gives Gus his wedding picture. It was him and his wife skydiving in their wedding outfits with a rabbi.

Gus' Dad May Have Killed an Old Guy

Season 2 episode 10. Flashback 1987, Shawn and Gus were playing with a ball and it went onto old man Fuller’s lawn. You never get it back then. Shawn makes a deal with Gus that he gets 1000, 2000 Gus corrects, outs. Gus goes to get it and then Mr. Fuller sees him and yells at him. Present day, it is Christmas time in Santa Barbra and Shawn is spreading Christmas spirit at the station. He is dressed up in a Santa Clause suit and has a sack with presents for everyone. Shawn gives Lassie a snow globe because hates them and pretends that he thought Lassie loved them. The snow globe had little Shawn and Gus’s and said Psych in it. Shawn gives Jules Mr. Mittens and says it is from just him not from him and Gus. Gus tells Shawn that his parents think that Shawn is a bad influence on him. When Shawn goes to Henry’s house he gets to check out his gift to see if he can guess what it is (they do this every year). Shawn barely does anything with it and he already knows what it is and puts it in his stalking. Shawn and Henry go to the Guster’s for Christmas dinner and then go caroling. While they are caroling they go carol to old man Fuller. When they open the door he is dead. Shawn and Gus get Lassie down there and he tells whoever is on the phone with him that it is an apparent suicide, but Shawn realizes it is murder. Shawn announces it to everyone and they figure out he is right. Gus’s parents think it was a good idea to have the boys working together after all. When Carlton (Lassie) goes to Juliet's house she invites him in and he meets her family and her nephews. Lassie doesn’t know anything about kids so he ultimately destroys their projects. When Shawn and Gus go to the station with Mr. and Mrs. Guster to give their statements Lassie arrests Mr. Guster because all of the things used to kill Mr. Fuller were all belonged to or found on Mr. Guster’s property. Henry invites over Gus’s mom and when she is their Shawn tells her that they will take the case. Henry tells Shawn not to take a case with a personal attachment. Shawn says it won’t affect him and it will help him solve the case. Lassie goes back to Jules’s house and brings a wii that he buys but pretends it’s from a crime scene. He beats all the nephews bad in boxing and the three of them and Jules all leave. Shawn and Gus go to old man Fuller’s house and find out that there are home owner’s violations. Shawn goes to Mr. Mitchell’s house and asks him about his relationship between Fuller and himself. He said that ever since he started the Home owner’s association that Fuller has not been following the rules. When Shawn and Gus have to do yard work for the Mitchell’s Shawn notices someone in Fuller’s house. Shawn and Gus call Jules and ask her to check the phone records to see if Rosa (the real estate agent who wanted to get her hands on Fuller’s house for years) killed Fuller. When Jules and Lassie get there Jules talks to Shawn and Gus and tell them that Rosa didn’t do it. They ask why she was there and she said to distract them. When they turn around Lassie had arrested Gus’s mom. When Shawn, Gus and his parents are in the interrogation room Gus tells them to stop babying him. When they leave Shawn tells Gus that they need to get back into Fuller’s house. While Shawn and Gus are there they go upstairs to the room where Fuller saw the neighbors do everything he blackmailed them about. Shawn found a picture that was hiding an affair. Shawn used the camera to see what house the people were in. when Shawn and Gus go talk to the guy he runs away but they stop him and they show him the picture. The guy says it looks like his father 30 years ago. Then Shawn and Gus asked him questions about the woman in the picture, and the guy said that is dad had a girlfriend that only came at night and when she left the house always smelled like white linen perfume. Back at the station Lassie tells Jules that he is free for Christmas dinner. Jules tells him that she want being completely honest with him. Lassie thought that she was jealous of him because she was supposed to be the cool aunt and that her nephews liked him better (not true). At the Guster’s house Gus used his super smeller to figure out what is in the jerk chicken. Shawn realizes that the lady in the picture will probably be at the Fuller auction. Shawn asks Gus if he can pick out a sent by memory and Gus says yes. Shawn calls Jules and tells her to get down to the auction. At the auction Shawn has Gus smell every single lady to see which one smells like white linen. Shawn figures out that Mrs. Mitchell was the one who killed Fuller and Shawn announced it in front of everyone. Lassie arrests her and takes her away. In the end Shawn had figured out what his gift was before his dad had given it to him (by the way it was psych monogrammed gulf balls and gulf lessons with the pro at the course) after Henry opens his fake gift Shawn gives him his real gift. It is a snow globe of Henry fishing. After that the Guster’s go home and they give Shawn money for taking care of Gus.

Bounty Hunters!

Season 2 episode 9. Flashback 1987, Shawn and Gus are sitting on the station porch and a bounty hunter had arrested a criminal when he walked by he winked at Shawn. Henry tells Shawn that if he is going to arrest someone he should do it the right way (with a badge). Present day, Jules had accidently lost a criminal who was in her custody. She tells Lassiter that she is going to go do everything she can to get Tankana back. He tells her that she is staying at the station and he has every bit of man power on this case. She realizes Shawn and Gus aren’t there. She calls them and Lassie fills them in. Shawn goes and talks to the husband and finds out the bounty is for anyone who finds Tankana first fast and brings him in. Shawn tells Lassie they are taking the case. When they are leaving they see Jules taking apart her gun and reassembling it. She told them it was a stress exercise. Shawn and Gus go to the cousin’s restaurant and Shawn figures out that Tankana was there. When Shawn and Gus were about to leave the bounty hunter comes in and cuffs Tankana. Tankana head butts him and runs out of the store. He goes into Shawn and Gus’s car and they are on their way to the station. When Lassie found out he immediately called Shawn. Shawn talks to Jules and tells her that she s turned on by the whole bounty hunters thing. The psychic part is just sexy but the Shawn Spencer Bounty Hunter it’s hot. She doesn’t answer and he asks if it’s because he doesn’t have a vest. Jules hangs up on him and Shawn is sad. He also had asked her about a Delbekio. She says they checked him out already. When they get to the station they call Jules. When everyone gets out Shawn and Gus are cuffed to the car. When they leave Shawn and Gus go to Delbekio’s houseboat. When they are there they find Tankana. They talk to him and Shawn sees the dead woman’s necklace in Delbekio’s drawer. Shawn knows that she was wearing it when she died and psychically tells Tankana and Gus. Right after he says this Bird (the bounty hunter) comes and fires his gun in the air. While he is firing Henry calls Shawn. He is worried because he hears gun shots. Shawn hangs up and Bird yells to give it up. While Shawn is still quickly snooping, Bird sneaks onto the boat with his gun. He tries to kill them but Shawn turns in the boat and he falls off. Then he gets back on and Shawn Gus and Tankana jump. When Shawn and Gus get back to shore they go to the restaurant where they know Jules is. Shawn and Gus look at the photos because she leaves the files with them. Gus looks at the photos and sees that they took pictures of the tattoos. He sees one that spells something that looks like BARB but Shawn realizes it is BAR13. When they go in the bar it is a bunch of big motorcycle people. Shawn tries to get the bartender to say about Tankana. As a result of that Shawn and Gus get hung upside down and almost beaten by the bikers. Tankana comes out and tells them that he will go to find Delbekio with them and they wouldn’t get beat up by his friends. Shawn says he will take him on one condition that he got one of the guys vest. They take the deal and leave. When they try to go to the psych office Bird is waiting there, so Shawn and Gus go to Henry’s house. Henry was out getting groceries but comes back while they are still there. Shawn pretends that Tankana is his old camp counselor named White Feather. Gus finally gets Delbekio’s cell phone to work but the only thing that is left is a thing that says _oney Drop Of_ ___ow _ark. Shawn figures out that the cell phone says “Money Drop Off Meadow Park.” Gus has to Google Meadow Park. Gus can’t find anything about a Meadow Park. When they stop talking they hear Tankana singing. Shawn realizes it is Meadow Parking. There is a result for Meadow Parking. Henry gets mad about the guy in the house. He tells Shawn to get rid of him. Shawn Gus and Tankana go to Meadow Parking and find Delbekio dead. While they are there Bird drives in. He takes Tankana and puts him in the car. Then Shawn and Gus pretend to give Bird more money than Cole offers. It is actually eczema swabs. Bird pulls a gun and the police come out of the station and take him inside. Shawn forgets to tell Lassie and Jules that they have the wrong guy. It was Cole and a double murder. He was planning on killing his wife and using the robbery as the perfect cover. Shawn reveals it out to everyone and Cole says there were no cameras in the parking garage. Jules arrests Cole and says Tankana is going to do time for the robbery and the escape. Then Shawn and Gus leave and Shawn is still wearing his vest. In the end Jules is packing up for the night and Shawn comes back. Jules tells Shawn that she screwed up today and she wanted to say thank you for being there. Shawn tells her it was a mistake. She tells him it has been a long day and he says well you better get home and feed your parrot. Jules says “Shawn I don’t have a parrot.” Shawn says “well in that case” and goes to kiss her. He is right about to when Jules says “Shawn what are you doing” and Shawn is like “nothing”. “Really because it looks like what you are doing is one of those things we were just talking about” she says. Shawn says what’s that and she says a mistake. Shawn agrees but that is clearly not what they are doing. She asks him what he calls it and Shawn says he calls it “very close talking.” She says she sees. And asks if there is anything else he has to say he says hmmmmmmmm and puts his lips on the top of her lips and says no. Then Shawn leaves and says “goodnight detective.” When he leaves she does her gun stress exercise.

Rob-A-Bye Baby

Season 2 episode 8. Flashback 1987, Shawn asked his dad how babies are born. Henry gives him some BS story that Shawn doesn’t believe it. Shawn tries to go ask his mom and Henry is like wait. Then he tells him to tuck in his shirt before he asks her. Present day, the chief called Shawn and Gus for something Top Secret. When they get there she tells them they need to find her a nanny. Shawn and Gus see that Lassie has a robbery case but the chief says this is the only case they can work on. Back at the office Shawn and Gus are working on the nanny case by looking on the internet. Shawn and Gus decide to go to the park. While they are there Buzz comes and tells them that he got a call saying some creepy dudes were hanging around the park. Buzz asked if they needed a ride and Shawn says no. then there is another robbery case and someone got murdered. Shawn and Gus go back to the station to tell the chief that they think the robberies are connected. She is obviously very upset because she hadn’t slept in weeks. She gives them 10 seconds to name the robber and thinks they have found a nanny. Shawn tells her they are down to the last 3 candidates (they don’t even have 1). When Shawn and Gus are leaving Shawn goes and talks to Lassiter and Jules. While he is there he takes pictures of the pictures of the houses on his cell phone. Gus found 3 candidates but Shawn figures out that they will all be bad. He dismisses them and then goes to Startek the security company because all the houses had it. When Shawn is there Lassiter and Jules are there too. Shawn figures out that the security people didn’t rob the houses (he only shares this information with Gus). Shawn asks Gus if he can take the blueberry but Gus says no. So Shawn has Henry drive him back down to the houses. Shawn sees one of the nanny’s with coach sunglasses. A nanny wouldn’t be able to afford them. When Shawn goes back to the station he still hasn’t found the chief a nanny. She ultimately fires them from all the cases. Gus is mad at Shawn but then gets over himself and finds the chief a nanny. Meanwhile Shawn proposes to Juliet so they can go undercover at the red balloon agency where the two nannies that Shawn met worked. After they are done Jules gets a call from Lassie saying to come down to the reptile center. Shawn goes with Jules because he wants to see what his wife does for work. He realizes that the guy who sold the stuff was Steve from the agency. He has a vision and Jules linked it to Steve. While they are there Gus calls and says he found a nanny for the chief and she forgave them plus her background check was already done and she could start right away. The bad part is she was from the red balloon agency. Shawn and Gus go to the agency and Steve and Abby (the heads of the agency) are making home visits. The lady at the desk has a headache so Shawn and Gus whistle and make her annoyed. She puts them in Abby’s office and Shawn and Gus find a secret panel. While Shawn and Gus are looking at the live videos from the customers houses they see that Steve and Abby are at chief Vicks house. Shawn and Gus call Lassie and Jules and they all go to chief Vicks house. Her daughter had just fallen asleep and she is so excited when Shawn, Jules, Lassie and Gus come in. Shawn tells them everything and right as the agency people are leaving the baby wakes up and starts crying. In the end the chief’s nephew is transferring to a school in Santa Barbra in 2 weeks. Shawn has Henry take care of the baby in the meantime even though Henry doesn’t want to.

If You're So Smart Then Why Are You Dead

Season 2 episode 7. Flashback 1987 Shawn is playing chess with Henry and is taking a long time to decide where to go. Henry tells him to focus and think. Shawn doesn’t have to think hard and checkmates Henry. Present day, Shawn has taken “is my boyfriend cheating on me” cases. When he is going back to the office Shawn tells Gus that they have a meeting at 2:00 and Gus says its 2:18. When Shawn and Gus get there their clients are a pair of kids. They take the case and go to the school. Meanwhile, it is Lassie and Jules’s 1 year anniversary for being partners. She wants to take the lead on the case so Lassie gives her the same one Shawn and Gus are working on. Shawn and Gus are at the school they see Lassie and Jules. Lassie is teaching her all the lessons of being a head detective. She tells Shawn to not get involved with the case and stay out of their way (to make Lassie not lecture her). Shawn’s reaction was like what? She is like sorry (without Lassie noticing). Then Shawn and Gus go talk to the janitor and he says something about a gold pin. Shawn and Gus find the pin in the lost and found. Gus knows it was a calculus symbol (oh and I forgot to mention this was a school for genius kids, and Gus applied there when he was 10). Shawn and Gus go to the teachers’ lounge but there are no math teachers. They go to talk to the gym teacher and they find out that the calculus teacher was in the gym teacher’s carpool. Shawn and Gus carpool that day and talk to the professor a little bit. The next day at their lecture the math professor is there. Shawn proves he is a psychic. And he also thinks that the professor is the killer. Meanwhile Jules gives Lassie a bunch of files to go through and he is like I’m not doing this and she is like yes you are. The next morning (murder day) it is Gus’s turn to drive the carpool. When they get to the professor’s house it is burned down and he is dead. Of course Lassie and Jules are there too. Shawn figures out that it was murder. Tells Jules and she believes him. She interviews the kids again and they don’t give her much. Back at Henry’s house the nerd kids fix his computer and hack the Juvenile Detention database. They find out that one of the kids at the school is actually 30 stole an identity of a kid who died. Shawn leads Jules to the discovery and solves the crime in front of his class. Jules gets to cuff the guy and says thanks to Shawn for helping her. In the end Shawn bought Henry ne chess pieces and played a game with him. Shawn wins he gets the truck for a week. Henry wins Shawn washes the truck for a week. Gus finally got a hold of his parents and is very upset with them. Shawn wins chess and then leaves.

Meat Is Murder, But Murder Is Also Murder

Season 1 episode 6. Flashback 1987, Gus had made muffins for Shawn to give Henry for breakfast so he could get ungrounded to see a movie on Friday. Gus lets Shawn pretend he made them and hid in the closet. Henry of course knows and lets Gus off the hook but grounds Shawn. Present day, Gus’s uncle is in town and he thinks Gus is the psychic. Shawn and Gus have to work a case but Shawn is going to help Gus with the psychic thing. They take uncle Burton to the crime scene and Jules is like who is he. Shawn tells Jules who uncle Burton is and that he invited him. Jules is like okay. When Shawn and Gus talk to the wife Shawn figures out that the wife didn’t kill the food critic. Shawn got a glimpse of the guy’s mouth and his tongue was coated black. Shawn went to the candy store and figured out none of the lollypops turn your tongue black. Back at the office Gus figures out that it is from the active ingredient in stomach medications. During this time Uncle Burton is in the bathroom and doesn’t hear what Shawn and Gus are saying. Shawn figures out that the food critic was murdered. When uncle Burton comes out of the bathroom he tells Shawn that he should clean up the office because he is the non psychic one. Shawn tells uncle Burton that he is right the non psychic one should clean up (he is talking about Gus) then Shawn tells Uncle Burton that Gus has some new psychic information. When they go to the station Shawn pretends that his visions are so strong they come out as the wrong fishes (words). Shawn has Gus translate for him and they figure out that the critic’s last meal was from Antonio’s the restaurant. At the restaurant Shawn and Gus go to the kitchen and talk to the chef.  While they are there Lassie and Jules come and arrest Chef Antonio. Then Shawn realizes they have the wrong guy chef Antonio cuts his mushrooms into strips. The mushrooms in the meal were cut in cubes. Because Lassiter doesn’t believe Shawn, uncle Burton, Gus and Shawn go to the news paper and figure out who wanted to kill the critic. They go to all of the restaurants and talk to the chefs. Then Shawn and Gus realize it wasn’t about revenge, someone at the news paper wanted his job. The head of the newspaper said he could only talk if Shawn was employed there so Shawn becomes the horoscope writer. He tells Lassie that he might have a promotion coming soon, Jules that her one true love will be wearing an apple jacks t-shirt and sneakers, and he told Henry to return his be begun. When Henry reads this he goes down to the psych office. When Shawn and Gus return Henry has a box of old stuff and tells him about the vegan lady and her thing with Antonio. Shawn called Jules and told her to come down to the place where the vegan lady was. When Jules came she saw Shawn in the apple jacks t-shirt is like that’s so weird. When Lassie goes to talk to the store manager he starts to go through the door and comes back out. Shawn as usual is like wait for it. Lassie turns around and walks through the door backwards. Then Uncle Burton shows up. Because he is enjoying the crime solving so much he was excited to come down. Then when Shawn and Gus thought they had solved it Jules comes over and tells them that a 6ft tall man dumped death caps yesterday. Uncle Burton rips up his post card and says that the psychic thing is bogus. At the station the chief tells Shawn and Gus about the other victim. Gus realizes they were on the right track. The streets were across from the news paper. When Gus is bringing Uncle Burton to the airport he realizes he has forgotten his hippo shirt. Shawn realizes what the man with the mushrooms was talking about. He had sunshine coming out of his mouth (cheetos) and a hippo for a hand (hippo company shirt). Gus tells Uncle Burton that he is going to be a little late for his flight. They go to the newspaper place and together Shawn and Gus do the psychic thing. They arrest the assistant of the main guy. Afterward Jules comes over to Shawn. He tells her they should celebrate over dinner and drinks. She tells him they are a little off. Then she gets a call from chief Vick about a bank robbery. Because Uncle Burton missed his flight he went with Shawn and Gus. In the end Uncle Burton is okay with Gus calling himself Gus instead of Burton. Shawn wrote a contract for him and Gus and Gus didn’t want to sign it. Shawn is like but he said you can sign it any way you want and says a bunch of famous people’s names.

And Down The Strech Comes Murder

Season 2 episode 5. Flashback 1987, a kid named Jimmy Nickels is chasing Shawn and Gus for their lunch money. Present day, when Gus gets to the office Shawn is like where were you. And he tells him that Jimmy Nickels called and will be there in 5 minutes. When Jimmy comes he is actually really short and is not bigger than Shawn and Gus like he used to be. Now Shawn and Gus are bigger than Jimmy.  Shawn and Gus take the case and Shawn “talks” to the horse. While they are at the track Henry is there wearing a really weird shirt. Then when the race is over one of the jockey’s falls off his horse and dies. The people try to save him but it is too late. When Jules and Lassie get there Jules is like you guys were just here because. Shawn told her it was free churro day. Gus asks about a cause of death and she says that they think it is a heart attack. Then Shawn sees Lassie secretly feed one of the horses a carrot. Then Lassie tells Jules to interview the rest of the jockeys. She is like urg and Shawn is like what? She tells them about her bad experiences with little people. When Jules leaves Gus tells Shawn that this probably wasn’t a heart attack because he was pretty sure the jockey had blood shot eyes and was stiff. Because Gus works with medicines he know this was a reaction of some kind of tranquilizer or poison. Back at the station Jules tells the chief that they are sure it was a heart attack. While she is saying this Shawn and Gus come in and interrupt. Shawn says he was poisoned. Lassie tells him he was tight and Shawn spills the pony secret to everyone. Lassie says he had about everything he could find in his system including horse tranquilizer. The chief doesn’t consider the case closed and everyone goes and looks for TBW (tall blond woman) this woman was actually Jimmy’s wife and was having an affair with the dead jockey. Gus found out that the tranquilizer was ketamine and that causes anesthesia. The police arrest Jimmy but Shawn and Gus know he didn’t do it and Lassie lets them have 5 minutes with him. Shawn and Gus accidently tell him about his wife because they thought Jimmy knew. Shawn and Gus said they know he didn’t do it but the same tranquilizer was in Jimmy’s locker. Jimmy tells them about all the horses running slow down the last stretch. Shawn and Gus go to the track and Shawn looks for something to prove Jimmy didn’t do it. Shawn and Gus have a race to see who is going to tell Jimmy he is screwed. Shawn figures out that you can see the track in a whole different way from the announcer’s box. When Shawn and Gus go there the announcer is up there in the box. Then a kid named Ryan comes in and is talking to them. Shawn realizes there are tapes of all the races. They go and ask Henry if he taped all of the races and of course he has. Shawn can't figure out what he is missing. Henry tells Shawn to broaden his vision. Shawn storms out like a little girl but does exactly that. Shawn is still trying to figure out who shot their third grade teacher with a spit ball. Shawn had ratted out Jimmy but knew it wasn’t him. He figures out there was a second shooter. Gus thinks he is crazy. When Shawn and Gus go to the station they tell Lassie Jules and the Chief about the tapes. They watch them and Shawn pauses the videos at different points on the different races. Then the chief says that they can’t cancel the race on Sunday but they can have police there. The next day (Sunday) during the race Shawn figures out what happened. Ryan, Berry (the announcer), and a guy named Phil get arrested for the other guy’s death. In the end Shawn tells Jimmy that he ratted him out. Jimmy tells Shawn that was the best thing that ever happened to him. Then Shawn looks back into his memory and realizes Gus was the second shooter.
