Season 2 episode 4. Flashback 1987, Shawn has a fancier bike than Gus so he thinks his is faster. When they race Gus wins. Present day, Shawn and Gus are sitting in Lassie and Jules’s chairs. In the chairs they race backwards down the hallway. Their wheels get stuck together and Lassie flips them over. He tells them they are children and gives them a spiel blah balh balh. Then when they go outside Lassiter’s car had been stolen. Shawn found a chop shop and busted the people. Right before Lassiter and the chief got there Shawn and Gus moved Lassie’s car. His car ended up being towed because it was a street sweeping day. Shawn goes out on a date that night with the girl he meets at the restaurant but then talks about the case. The girl thinks he is talking about her and she leaves. Shawn figures out that this was the first time he had been wrong about a case. Shawn goes and visits the guy in jail and then goes and pretends to be customers at a bling it up car shop where Johnny G works (the only other guy who visited the chop shop guy on jail besides Shawn). Shawn looked at the serial numbers on the parts and asked Jules to run them. She told them the numbers were legit. While they were driving in the new car Buzz McNab comes up behind them and a k-nine trainee barks at the wheels. Shawn makes it so Gus has to go back to the bling it up car place and have Jonny G fix it. Jonny G isn’t there so Shawn and Gus snoop around his office. Gus picks up one of the rims and notices that it is really light. While they are in there Henry calls telling Shawn he needs him. While Shawn was there he realized he was right all along. Jonny G was drug trafficking using car parts to smuggle the drugs. Some of the residue must have gotten on Gus’s car and that’s why the dog barked at it. The rims were so light because they were hollow. When Shawn and Gus went there the last time and Jonny G wasn’t there they asked one of the workers where he was. The worker said he didn’t know because he was getting ready to send a shipment out to Arizona. When Shawn and Gus leave Henry’s house they need to get to the shop before they send the shipment to Arizona. When they get there it is too late, but they do find Jonny G dead in a car. There was laughing gas so they couldn’t stop laughing when they opened the car door. Shawn and Gus go to visit Wally (the chop shop guy) in prison. Shawn now decides that he was the mastermind behind the drug smuggling and Jonny’s death. The next day at the office Gus looks and sees that Wally posted bail that morning. Shawn realizes he did this to be in jail during Jonny’s death and the bid deal goes down today. Shawn told him to call the trucking company and ask them if they are making any custom car deliveries today, and that he would go get Lassie and Jules. At the presentation that Lassie is giving with the assistance of Juliet there is a slide show with a bunch of pictures of Lassie and Jules using modern technology to solve crimes. When Gus gets there he tells Shawn that he pretended to be Jonny’s lawyer and that he found out when and where. When Lassiter asks for questions one girl raised her hand. When he finished with that Shawn has a vision and goes on the stage. Shawn and Gus bring Jules and Lassie to the deal and they arrest Wally and find the drugs. In the end Shawn and Gus go to the spa and want to have a massage with Gloria the blind one. They dude at the desk says she only has a couples session. Shawn says it’s okay but Gus says no way. They leave and argue on the way out.
